I am on the older side of waterfowl hunting and my son got in to watching your channel. I love that you have been able to use the haters for positive directions. I have shot a lot birds and find watching your channel addicting If some one wants to shoot a crap ton of birds then they really haven’t hunted. There are good days and bad days In any hunting. Just being out and watching good dogs work and some birds hit ground. Keep up the videos Love them all

You're a hunting role model Bob! Don't let the haters get in the way of your success and instead, let their words keep motivating you to that next level! I watched you from the start but wasn't much of a hunter as i didn't have friends who liked to hunt. Since then, I've got 3 hunting buddies now and we get out a handful of times a year and we take your learnings and advise and we slay now. Thanks for all that you do, keep up the great work and hopefully the boys and I can find a time to come hunt at your lodge!

Bob, myself and my 17 year old son have been with you since the start of your channel. As of haters, just ignore them, so many keyboard warriors these days it keeps me from posting on any social media. You are doing it right, nothing I can see is off track, keep doing what you are doing and stop worrying about the haters. My perspective is based on me being 58 years old, grew up on the Chesapeake Bay, duck hunting starting at age 6. Have killed a ton of birds in my life with guides, I have guided and on our own. You are doing great, just ignore the haters. My son and I watch you to see something different than the Chesapeake Bay, one your channel. One day we may come visit.
Just remember you can’t make everybody happy , so just keep doing what you do your cool dude . 👍🏼

Might try some heavy mil black plastic over the walls, it would would be super cheap and would be better than nothing. Next option would be bead board with some exterior paint on both sides.

My advice is use the out building as the shower and bath house and put in several shed to house conversions. They can be moved later to boot. Make them homie cabins that fit hunting. Not to mention every year you can add another.

The ones that are hating are simply jealous. Not a single thing wrong with what your doing man. Your showing your passion for duck hunting on a day to day basis. I like how your showing the progress of making your dream come true and your not cocky with it.
For the wall you could try some texture 111. It's 4x8 plywood but it comes painted and it looks like tongue and groove super quick and easy!
Bob, I love what you did with them duck shack it looks amazing buddy. I don't think I'm going to make it this season but I've been talking to my buddies about coming and doing a dove hunt and some are down and some are contemplating but we'll see maybe next year.....stay positive brother and positive things will happen. Almost had to get on ya again! haha put it right at the end.... sure looks nice! Haters gonna hate, keyboard warriors got nothing better to do. Keep doing what your doing! If you do finish the shop walls I'd consider white tin walls. Makes the shop significantly brighter, easy to clean, don't have to paint, and not as easy to put accidental whole in wall.
Might have to start thinking about a new guides shack for next season. If I remember that was the reasoning for using that area last year for the guides and getting them their own private retreat.
I love the idea of the duck shack for the budget hunters and it is for limited days; so probably not a problem.
Looking forward to the season and videos from all of it.
Remember if you are doing it right, there will always be haters. Just turn those negatives into positives for yourself and keep moving forward. Tough to do, but makes life so much easier in the long run!!! PMA (Positive Mental Attitude)

some people don't like change. Do what you want to live life. I have lost a lot of my friends because of change but were they really my friends.
Positivity is the key to negativity.
You can lock the screen on the thermostat and connect it to your phone and computer. If you do that it will email you if you have any issues with the system.
You should finish the garage walls and clean it up a bit, people paying money dont wanna come sleep in someones garage lol, make it the best you can!
If I was you I would maybe think about doing reclaimed tin roofing for the walls in your duck shack.. the lodge we stay at in Missouri has insulation reclaimed tin walls and it looks pretty freaking cool.

Bob, for what it's worth, which my opinion probably isn't worth much, but I think you should put a wall up to divide the shack from your boat stall... I know it costs a little money, but I think it'll better the Duck Shack even more and provide a more comfortable space...Just an idea.. Then it will have a more complete look..

Love your channel, I have a question for ya. I purchased a Stoeger M3500 last fall and love it. I’m wondering what the best aftermarket chokes are? What is the best one to use? And the best shot size. Ha ok that’s three questions and I target mostly ducks out to a range of 60 yards.

You could use T111 sheets on the walls. Paint them,, stain them or nothing Then you can hang about anything anywhere you want. Very rustic looking.

The more you react to the negatives the more there will be. It’s part of any job out there. I would recommend never bringing them up and most likely they won’t because it’s not fun to anymore

I don’t know construction laws in your areas; need hydrant system or not; but I suggest you prepare some fire extinguishers 🧯 at applicable places or corners; won’t spend much money. Also show them & evacuation plan for safety, when client is coming. Thank you.
