needs to use angles and power a bit more often, IMO she still plays a bit like Ferrer, passes the ball safely a bit too often. her consistency is great to beat top 20+ players, but I don't think she'll win many matches against top 5 players. this will prevent her from winning any big tournaments, IMO

With Haddad, you need to go for some angles, but don't give a player that thrives on hitting many balls the advantage. Paula is a nervous player with tremendous groundstrokes, but she folds and doesn't vary her approach to playing women like Haddad who thrives on long rallies. And that insipid hissing gets louder and louder.
Badosa put up a good fight, but was probably still affected by her viral infection last week. BHM good fighting as always. Looking forward to a good matchup with JPeg.
Haddad Maia needs to tone down those grunts. I can understand if you do it mid match when you’re tired and want that extra strength. But this broad is doing it from the very first point.

when she plays against 40 to 60 players in the world who play a high ball style with more spin she gets in trouble and loses. Now that she's only playing the top 20 who hit the flattest balls it's the style she prefers to play against.
