Your channel is so amazing. I try to spread curry culture in general. People see the dramatic impact on my health as evidence. If they seem interested in my method, BAM! I plug your channel. I don't often follow your recipes to the letter, but I think it's important that there are people like you keeping traditional methods alive, and I feel like you give excellent theory and technique which are a great help to those of us improv cooks, and provide a solid base. Thank you so much! In a perfect world you should be the next Martha Stewart without the prison time.

You are my favourite cookery channel, let's first get that straight. This dish, and all others can be improved by substituting organic coconut oil for butter or ghee. Healthier and even tastier. Many herbicides and pesticides banned in Europe are still exported but the sprayed products are imported back, therefore I wash and soak all my lentils and vegetables in water with a teaspoon of baking soda before use. Baking soda for the more delicate items, and charcoal for the more robust, root vegetables etc..

Apart from the butter which I would have to reduce purely for health reasons this is something I could certainly try. I know the wife would be big on it and its not going to break the bank even if it wasn't to my taste so will certainly give this a try. Thank you 🙂.

never cooked a lentil curry shamza as love lamb curries the most, upon looking at this recipe it seems so quick and far more healthy and probably just as tasty as lamb curry, i am going to try this dish as i need to steer away from red meats for health reasons, thx for the upload shamza!

Hi , I have just finished cooking the lentil curry. The flavour us out of this world and set to be one of my regular dishes. I couldn't get fresh chilli from our local store so substituted with chilli flakes. Thank you so much for your highly informative, and inspiring, RUclips video. Krs Sid and Nicola, Rugby.
