@@ExpeditionHiker I've just downloaded a few walks from Alltrails from Chrnwood Forest. Once Leics are out of tier 3 I will certainly pop over! Thanks for subbing, and I will see you on the next one. 🥾 😀
Lovely video as always Andy. Looks like a really interesting area to walk with a nice windmill to see as well. Definitely don’t see many of those these days. I notice you’ve now reached 300 subs. Great achievement. Keep going, you’ll soon be half way to your target 👍
I have done a couple of walks in the National Forest and intend to do some more in the future, although its a bit flat. My wild camp video helped with gaining the extra subs, so shall be doing a few more of those, thanks for watching
@@ExpeditionHiker good idea. Wild camping videos certainly attract more attention. I thought your wild camp was a really good video as well so those extra subs are well deserved
What an excellent video Andy, possibly made all the more interesting as its an area I'm very familiar with having lived Leicester side of Glenfield for 35 years and can easily reach Charnwood wallking from home. When you mentioned honey It sounded like you were fond of it ( I'm a beekeeper). I'm not keen on the beer they produce at the monastery though. All the best. Dave.👍
I do like a bit of honey in my tea now and again, Glad you liked the video, I do like the national forest, although a bit flat it has some great walks with plenty to see - thanks for watching
I’ve never walked this area and it’s not too far from me. Fab video Andy. Happy and Dandy! Keep safe. Subbed. ATB - Julia (Northants)
Hi , There are quite a few good walks around the national forest, thanks for watching😀 & I have subbed to yours too,

Great video. I’ve walked parts of this route many times over the years living in Shepshed for 25 years. Oh and Whitwick is pronounced ‘whit-ick’ 😄
OK thanks for letting me know on whit-ick, it is an interesting area, I aim to do more in the national forest next year

Done a couple of walks in the area, may do the national forest route later this year
Whitwick is pronounced Whitick
Thank you it's always good to know how to pronounce a place, as I am always butchering place names 🙃
