Another solid amen - God does not change - we do. We are quick to blame God but do not even reflect or consider we might be the one to blame for our own dilemmas.

The solid word there by Costi - GOD IS GOOD no matter what HE does! He is not a cosmic waiter genie with a menu to take your order. He is not a Pez dispenser giving you your favorite flavor. It is not our subjective feeling or circumstances that matter when it comes to God, it is our obedience, our willingness to hear, and do what He asks no matter our plight. In losing ourselves for others in serving Him and them, we find ourselves and God at work on both ends.

What a great saying, you don't resist temptation not to be bad ... if you are always playing DEFENSE when is it you SCORE to go ahead. You do so because you want to honor God. Your obedience is proof of Him at work in you to love Him. We would not do this on our own, but He works within us.

Exactly - beware of the lure, the hook, the line, and eventually - the sinker. Rise above evil, do good, choose good.

you kids are very blessed. Make sure you pray for your Pastors, Costi, Brett, and all those God brings to your mind. They need God's help all the time, they have hard schedules and many deadlines. Pray for them and your parents and don't forget to give THANKS to the Lord for his great gifts.

The Worship team did such a good job, they don't make it easy for Costi to follow. But I have full faith Costi will deliver another bullseye on target message straight to the heart, as he usually does. God bless this service and may all the glory go to you.

Amen, what a great discovery in this journal. We may suffer in the temporal, hunger, hardship, and pain, but yes, when we begin to see what is ahead, and all that God let us enjoy behind us now, even in our last breaths, God speaks to us, and it is with Amazement at His Grace we will also say, WE ARE OVERWHELMED with just how good God has been to us all along when we did not even deserve a frowned eyebrow considering how we lived, except be it by the Grace of God, there go we. Except be it by the grace of Jesus spending His riches on us, taking our place at the Cross, for what we rightly deserve, saving and redeeming our soul for all eternity, yes we are more than overwhelmed beyond comprehension.

Dead Men don't wear Plaid & Dead Men don't raise themselves. It is God who gives us everything including life, breath, mobility, function, strength, intelligence. All from the hand of God. Do we give thanks? The Bible says God cares for us, God loves us, as Costi said, these are gracious benevolent gifts that ought to boggle the mind. Who and what are we that God would consider us, yet He does.

James is a great book for the youngsters, it is the NT version of the OT Proverbs of King Solomon, also a great book for young-ins, because if you want to understand life, and be wise way beyond your piers, God will speak to you strongly in both of these books, if you apply them to your life.
