Interesting fact - there is a small temple inside Ranganatha Swamy temple for a Muslim Princess. The legend goes this way. During the Delhi Sultanate expeditions in the south, the sultan’s army looted the wealth and idols of this temple. The main deity was stolen and kept in the Delhi Palace. The sultan’s daughter fell in love with the daughter and was took the idol and was very passionate. The Hindus from Srirangam after sometime took courage to ask the Sultan for the idol. The sultan agreed to return the idol and they came to Srirangam. However, the princess could not bear the separation and she came to Srirangam but was stopped from entering the temple. She cried and sacrificed her soul to join Ranganatha. Ranganatha Swamy accepted her devotion and took her as one of the concubine. The temple (sannidi) is called Tulukka Nachiyar temple and even today Roti and butter is offered as Prasad and Lord Ranganatha sports an Islamic dress on one of the utsav days
It has a statue of Bibi nachiyaar a Muslim lady who worshipped Lord Ranganath and is situated in a river island between Kaveri and KOllidam.

You have no idea about the biggest temples in Tamil Nadu, eg , madurai Meenakshi, chidambaram, kanchipuram,ekambareshwar, jumbukeshwar,thiruvanamalai and Tanjavur and many many more.this all temples are very ancient and crafted bassalt rocks. What you mentioned most are recent concrete temples,which you can built area wise and hight wise,as much as you want.period.

The idol was taken back to the srirangam temple... Sultanat daughter ask were the idol... The management said it return back... So sultanat daughter came to srirangam... Temple authorities sacred so they hide the samy idol.... After the sultanat daughter heared the samy idol is not hear... In front of the temple steps she died... Even that sultanat daughter idol was in the temple and pooja is goning still now.....

It's not a world's largest Hindu temple indeed. The world's largest Hindu temple is located in Combodia which is Angkor Wat.
Cambodia's temple is not an active temple, no pooja is done there. Sri Rangam temple is the largest active temple. Also Angor Wat, originally a Hindu temple is now considered a Buddhist temple.
