you have jets overhead, dogs barking, birds chirping, skeeters, and sometimes trains :) plus state of the art testing center. Man you living the life of Reilly Bryan :) Good review :) HA HA I understood "mister Bill:)
I just purchased the Old Timer 169OT in polished D2 steel on Amazon for $55. The drop point blade is 5" long and is flat ground. It looks like 5/32" thick but I'm not sure. There's only one channel that has done a limited review of the knife. It comes with a leather sheath. It's like nobody knows about this knife. It's nice.
I have the mini. The knife is great but the sheath was terrible. No retention, knife fell right out. They did send me another one but it had the same problem. Finally they sent one from the Schrade version and it's okay. I would up making my own sheath for it. I do like the knife.
Nice!! Elegant knife. Old school cool. Out here in Tucson we have some iron wood forests and that wood is sooooo hard and dense, that those grips should last forever!!!
Say Heah Bryan, Its nice to see you making knives that make good combos. I like buying knives so eventually I can make a combo. Because I usually take two knives into the bush.,,.p
Say Heah Bryan, Guess what, I took my WoW Folding Saw out for the weekend, You do have to get the rhythm. If you ain't got the swing, you ain't got a thing, heh heh heh.,,.
The balance test was great but with those nice scales on that nice knife you could have skipped it. lol. Glad it turned out well. Love the hat. thanks for the vid
Schrade Saturday :) Great vid Bryan! I guess aesthetically pleasing would be the best way to describe that knife. Like its big brother. There is something ahmm...gentlemanlish?...is it a word?!?..lol ...about it. The combination of brass and wood hardly ever fails. It simply looks great. Old Timer has many beautiful knives and folders. Especially the more old school style ones. Have a great day Bryan :) Big thumbs up!
That is some FINE carving. On a different note, what do you do by way of mosquito repellant? I've been using a citronella-based natural product from Cutter of late.
Survival On Purpose You're a better man than me. I know I have a "Free Food" sign on my forehead that only mosquitoes can see, so I don't mess around...lol
Great review Bryan! Beautiful knife! Very nice knife to have and maybe even give to junior outdoors man. Not a bad first full tang knife. I caught that reference...back when SNL was watchable. Thanks for the video and have a great weekend.
As always great review and a functional, beautiful, priced right knife for us common folks. Time for a Thermacell. BTW, liked the Mr. Bill reference. Ohhhh noooo! 😉
Brian. As always your vids are great. trouble is living in the UNITED.KINGDOM it's so hard to find some of your knives and when you do the price even with the exchange rate is always so high. I've wanted a shrade sharp finger for years but the price is such that I can't justify it. Meanwhile I will continue to watch and enjoy your presentations. thanks David U.K

There should be a comparison test to see if a fire will start better or easier with loose separated curls or curls still attached to each other.

I did notice it wasn't quite as snug as the larger one
Survival On Purpose
A well placed river at the top fixed it. I was disappointed but I have to say Schrade made it right.
Quite good video, awesome!

Gentlemanish works for me.
That is some FINE carving. On a different note, what do you do by way of mosquito repellant? I've been using a citronella-based natural product from Cutter of late.
+Charles Collier so far not much really. I did get my thermacell working.
Survival On Purpose You're a better man than me. I know I have a "Free Food" sign on my forehead that only mosquitoes can see, so I don't mess around...lol

That is a bummer
We need some left handed draw sheaths.
yep
john stuglik
I make sheaths if interested. I also own this knife.
I like that hat, they offer it in anything other than camo?
They sure do. ruclips.net/video/KBEbPkhhq8Y/видео.html
If you like smaller knives it's nice but i prefer it's bigger brother. BTW I like the Hat. were did you get it.Maybe you could do a short review of it
here you go: ruclips.net/video/KBEbPkhhq8Y/видео.html
Is it made in China?
Really enjoy your videos. That's a great looking knife and pretty scales. You will have to play your guitar if only as background music! Please,
Bryan wrote and performed his opening intro music.....and he has on occasion played some BG music during the videos.
I will see what I can do. It is usually all I can do to get the videos edited and posted.
"Oh no, Mr. Bill!" Is that a comment from the state-of-the--old-fart testing facility?
;-)
Uh-Huh Balance is optimal on this Seensy-Weensy 1 Bryan ATB Terry God Bless
And it is so cute, too.
