@mikemack2023 I use a 6ft - 7ft ML rod with 6-8lb braid to a White River Tackle Perch Pounder Rig...(I like the Green flys the best but do well on others as well)...that goes down to a 1/4-1/2oz bell sinker...Bait all depends on the fishing that day...Either Minnows, Shrimp, or Worms. I have used the same rig from shore.
@@outdoorbelievin5259 thanks so much, I notice you're from the marina in Michigan City, any good spots around that pier or a long the beach to fish for perch?
He is wonderful father, God bless him
@stevemartin9785 thank you...much appreciated
Great to see kids and perch fishing. It's how many of us get started.
@10shepherds1 For sure, They are Hooked.
Fishing in New Buffalo has been pretty good. Did well last week every day.
@jimeikelberg7934 I've been hearing that and may make a trip to give it a go.
My friend and I got a nice batch when we went out. Take them out more often! They will never forget it! Enjoy!!
@@malcolmbutler801 I couldn't agree more...thanks for watching
Put the minnow upside on the hook. Works for Fish Yanker. Fish think it's dying.
@timothylondo I'll have to try that...thanks
What's your rig and set up for lake Michigan perch fishing? Also what rig is best for shoreline perch fishing?
