Since people keep bringing up Noodle Cups, the main reason I personally eat pretty much nothing but that and the occasional veggie and processed pre-war food is because some (if not all) cooked foods like Grilled Radstag or Squirrel Stew were and may still be glitched (last time I checked was years ago but still after all the patches, excluding the two latest ones of April/May 2024 of course but I doubt they fixed it). Those foods have a high chance of granting you their effects permanently and while that may sound like a good thing, it pretty much nulifies a survival playthrough. I remember getting my carrying capacity permanently increased by a lot due to eating Grilled Radstag and I wasn't happy about it as I was specifically going for a "realistic" playthrough (like, being able to carry very little and just 1-3 weapons). I stick to foods that don't grant any buffs and just act as hunger/thirst reliefs.
OMG! Just got a wounding Gatling laser for the first time. 😁 I went to the pylons located just southwest of Suffolk County Charter School. The door you open that reads, "You looked good today" and farmed the century bot that spawns. Only took about an hour.
@@ArtemisShanks Not survival. If it's not the first time you've triggered that encounter, the century bot will spawn as you approach. You can save at a bed I believe is in the nearby church before going to it.
Best way to a happy settlement is ~75 Pick Me Up stations at a raider encampment. They'll be happy as heck in no time, and the longer you stay away from the settlement, the more chems will accumulate therein. Practically unlimited Jet, Buffout, and Psycho.

Purified Water in Nuka world is quite rare. Try Evan's Home, there's a water pump there, but you will need bottles.
Regarding Codsworth going missing; you can teleport him into the Automatron bot creator if it happens again
