The Koç family, who live in the Yeşilyurt village of Niğde/Altunhisar district, are impatient to migrate to their plateaus with the arrival of spring and the greening of the mountains.
The Koç family, who graze their cows on this plateau full of various flowers and herbs, make a living by producing and selling dairy products such as cheese and butter from the milk they obtain from the cows spread out in the pasture using traditional methods.
Emel Koç (56), who feels more peaceful and happy on the plateau, tells us about her old times, the story of the stone houses they live in and the struggle they give for life on the plateau.
