Why do none of these videos show you how many problems the app has. I bought the product and have not been able to connect my phone and so it doesn't even work....
Is anyone still having this problem.? I was but I figured it out. Your phone actually has to be on the tripod stretched out like the vides showed. Then you have to put the phone hold on to the side a little for it to calibrate. If that makes sense.

ha. Zhiyun broke the barrier a few years back when it came to affordable mobile phone 3-axis gimbals. Then DJI sort of went back in the hyperbaric chamber, ate a handful of senzu beans, partnered up with Apple, and sort of took over the domestic mobile gimbal market (as well as their drones giving their brand a huge, huge boost). I still own multiple zhiyun gimbals but the way that DJI has been innovating, my next large gimbal for my mirrorless will assuredly be a Ronin and not the Weebill-S predecessor (I currently own the Weebill-S).
@@henlolneh Just a note.. Our company shed our DJI RS series both the RS2, and RSC2 for mirrorless, and we have since replaced them with the Weebill 2. Hands down, the best gimbal for mirrorless, and unlike the DJI units we tried, the Weebill 2 handles our caged A7III's and 16 35 GM lenses perfectly. What's even better is the feedback in real time of the motor axis on the display. Easy to show what the user has done to overwork a motor axis, or is a great indicator in what settings can be used if needed... iow if an axis seems weak and is showing heavy action, then you can simply increase power to that one axis if needed, or reassess the load weight to determine a fix. The auto calibration for all 6 of our Weebill 2's are fantastic.. best results yet. Even our worse ninja walkers produce very stable footage far better than they did the RSC2 with the same payload. Yes, DJI is a top brand, but there are products that do things what we need a little bit or a lot better. We also fly Autel Evo 2 Pro drones for our RE business. Used to fly M2P's. NO other foldable handles the high winds here, or delivers the camera detail at this price. M3 maybe... but in our initial runs we will not be replacing the Autel birds anytime soon.
I purchased this 1 month ago and was beautiful. Then all of a sudden the phone started drifting. It is impossible to calibrate. The app won't let me create an account and tried to do the online thing and the files they send you got flagged by Windows for possible danger. It was beautiful for 3 weeks, hate to see it go as I got attached to it, but I seem to be not allowed to use it.

I've tried to delete some Bluetooth devices I had on my phone, but still. Do someone has a solution please? I can't connect it to my phone, even with or without the app...

Anybody have issues with the vertical arm screw? Mine doesn’t do anything. The arm will click into the extended position but the screw itself doesn’t lock it there. It just takes a tap and the arm will lower back down. Is that supposed to happen? Just bought it tonight and got it charged. Literally out of the box the vertical, arm was just loose but the screw was tightened down.
wow, this is awesome!! I didn't expect to be able to produce cinematic videos with just a smartphone. The combination of a smartphone, zhiyun smooth q3 and Filmora that can make it happen. I observed couple of things and will be grateful if anyone advise its normal. Upon moving through all the modes when I reach last one which is pov and spin shot mode I see slight tilting movement of phone when moving to pov mode and spinshot mode. Also in spinshot mode when i place the phone in gimbal at extreme end of rotations I see back and forth small movements in the gimbal, very slight but noticeable, I thought it could be bcos its a mechanical stop end and gimbal is trying to compensate for movements etc but I sill want to be sure if it is a normal thing. I use iphone 12 pro max with zihyun app and not been able to take a panaromic shot which is done of whole grid rest all pano shots work fine, I get message that it is failed to generate pano shot after it tried to process it. Can any one advise me if this is common with all q3
I’m having one query here that I haven’t figured out yet. I want to make all my videos by keeping the mobile in portrait mode. I can do that by triple tapping the back button. But whenever I click in Smart tab in the ZY cami app, the gimbal puts the mobile back into landscape mode which I don’t like. Is it possible to use all the smart features in portrait mode? Also, I do not see any option to do it using joystick. It only allows me to rotate the gimbal, not the mobile (like a wheel).
@@zhiyunsupportglobal706 Ahh... I think I figured it out what I was looking for. When I changed the follow mode from L to Vertex, I was able use the joystick to control the rolling axis. I'm not sure if I should call it rolling axis or tilt axis. :D But I'm happy that I found what I was looking for. The smart feature in the ZY cami app is basically of no use for me as everything is in landscape mode (I mostly make videos in portrait mode for Instagram reels). But no problem. I can make my own smart mode videos by tweaking the follow mode options and add my own music. :)

Hi! SMART only supports landscape shooting and the joystick can only control the operation of the tilt axis and pan axis of the gimbal. :)
