A Belly band will become your best friend! I've had horrible ligament pain and the belly band has saved me when I have to do any walking or run errands..
The round ligament pain is no joke! I had it with both my girls. I also had Braxton Hicks throughout both my pregnancies! I love keeping up with your progress - praying for a continued healthy pregnancy and babies!
I feel your pain! I had the round ligament pain early into pregnancy whenever I would do too much. I was moving or walking a lot, it was crazy. I couldn't wait for that pain to be over. I didn't have twins, but my pain didn't last long, it was maybe a few weeks or so. Hopefully the twins don't make it last too long for you!
I dealt with the same thing with my fourth pregnancy really early on! It freaked me out since I had never dealt with round ligament pains or cramps with any other pregnancy so early on. Now I know what causes it or makes it worse. Like you said drinking water helps, and I notice it most when I over do it. I think every pregnancy is so different - first, second, fifth, twin, triplet. We never know what to expect!
Yeah I've had too.... Matt has been doing the grocery shopping lately.. the idea of walking around the grocery store right now, ugh! No thank you. I need to do the Wal-Mart grocery pick up again, that was really helpful!
Glad to hear the babies are doing well! I am also having that "full" feeling right after I start eating. I love the videos since I'm about two weeks behind you I can kind of tell what I might be experiencing soon!!
Going pretty well! I am not as tired as I was. They each was 2oz when I was 12 weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing how much they have grown when we go to our 16 week appointment! We are also hoping that we will find out the gender at this appointment! I'm wondering if I'm feeling that round ligament pain also?! I'm getting a pretty sharp pain on the right side of my lower stomach it will last for a little while then go away then come back! So I'm not sure if maybe that's what it is! I know our bodies are stretching faster on the inside to make room for these twins! I have really noticed my belly tightening up and growing just this past week! What kind of lotion or butter are you using for stretch mark prevention?!
I bet what you're feeling is growing pains. My round ligament pain started off on my left side and was a sharp pain as well. Since this is your first pregnancy I bet you will feel these pains sooner than I did. Remind me again, were ya'll able to determine if your twins were fraternal or identical? And YES, you should be able to start looking for the gender at your 16 week appointment! Even last week when we went (around 16 weeks) we could see their boy stuff VERY clearly, haha. And I've been really bad about lotions, I have not bought or used anything so far. eeck, I know. I used lotion with Connor but still got really bad stretch marks, so I want to be better this time round. If you find a lotion you like please share with me!!
The Former Mrs Jones They are identical, we was at first worried about them being in the same sac, but at 12 weeks they found the twins were in separate sacs. Being my first pregnancy I have nothing to compare anything too! I bought Bella B Tummy Honey Butter, one of my friends recommended it and said to work great for her. It seems to be working well! It's very very greasy and I don't think it smells the best, but if it will work I don't mind!
I had ligament pain with my first pregnancy, it really scared me because I had no idea what was going on. I didn't have it with my next two...you just never know, they are all different.
I had ligament pains only towards the end with my first 3 singletons. My twin pregnancy has been the most difficult. I’ve literally had every single pregnancy symptom even ones I never had with my first 3. The symptoms I have now that I had before in my previous pregnancies seem to be sooo magnified. I’m only 14 weeks and already getting ligament pain. I’m terrified thinking of how much longer I have and how it is probably going to get worse. I am already so uncomfortable and am just trying to make it day by day till I deliver and get my double blessings. Good luck everyone.
Yesss my allergies/sinuses have been so bad! I was so glad to hit the second trimester a few weeks ago and be able to take sudafed finally! Praise the lord
I need to buy stuff first, ha! I was actually telling my husband a few days ago now that we're done with buying the house and BIG house purchases, we need to start focusing on baby stuff!! But I will share when we start getting things! xoxoxoxo
From about 23-24 weeks with my identical twins I was measuring 10 weeks ahead lol at 29 weeks I was measuring 42 weeks so crazy what our bodies are capable of!
I looked like that with singleton pregnancies. Don't gain a lot of weigh, but I am short so everything shows very fast. You are doing the right thing by having smaller more frequent meals. It's hard to eat a lot at one time when space it at a premium. By the way, all pregnancies are different whether it's singleton or multiple. We had all boy singleton pregnancies and every pregnancy was different. Enjoy the journey of growing your family.
I had severe round ligament pain with my fifth pregnancy!!!! I couldn't move sometimes. I couldn't walk!! It was the worst pain of my life! Durning labor I had to get an epidural because of the round ligament pain I could handle the contractions alone but not combined! I pray you don't endure this throughout the whole pregnancy!
Yikes!! Sorry it was so bad for you!! So far mine have been totally manageable, so I'm hoping my little tricks (staying hydrated, resting, etc) will help as I continue to grow. Thanks so much for watching!!
Didi boys at 17 weeks here so go to see obgyn only every 4 weeks 😔 wish I could see them sooner! Mine always measure a week ahead so idk how that happened as I’m quite sure on my LH peak! I get pelvic pains if I don’t get up to pee at night often enough and lay on a different part of my hips. Def getting round ligament pains, but not bad 🥰 Since I got a cold and traveled a week ago, I’m not getting as much baby movements. Wondering if they repositioned! My earliest movements felt like mice or popcorn popping. Now it’s more like someone blowing bubbles (less sharp and more subtle movements)
Thank you so much!! And as far as the baby steps, technically we are on Baby Steps 4, 5, & 6... but we are going to take a short break from those right now while I am pregnant. The goal is to get Mommy and babies home safely before starting up the baby steps again. We have so many payments going out lately for our deductible and other expenses, I'm trying my best just to keep up with that, ha! :-)
Thanks for replying. I completly understand and agree that everyone's health is the most important :-) besides you guys are doing so well that a little break won't harm much :-)
I eat Kind breakfast bars (blueberry) because I'm not a breakfast person.. but I do it because I have severe anemia and gastric bypass. They are very yummy, easy on the tummy and healthy, maybe you'd like them?
hey check out my friend Amanda and eat pray crunch. She is due in October and a bit behind me and you. She will be making update videos as well. Food has been such a challenge for me this pregnancy. I really need to work on getting more healthy things in. I ate veggies for lunch. Have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. I will be getting a script for my gender ultrasound which I can do in 3-5 more weeks. hope the ligament pain doesn't stay so painful. Glad that is all it was. I got a couple sharp pains I am 15 weeks. may have been from that but no cramping at all. Now that I am trying to concentrate more I do feel pressure from the baby. must be moving in there but nothing noticable yet.

I have that ligament pain too while preggers! You'll probably have lots of it with twins. You look great!!! 💙💙 Get lots of rest, mama! Cute bump!
I adore this! I love learning about different pregnancies from mine. Twins had got to be such a cool experience!

You look amazing! Glad you're feeling better, please stay hydrated.. especially when you're cramping from the stretching..💓💓💋
You might want to try a Maternity Support Belt. It will help with the pressure feeling.
It's all looking good, Mama!
