it´s Fernando from spain! Great video thanks! The only thing i want is to have that exhaust sound... thats why im here. Loud, but not excesive, pops and sound when u change gear is menthal.... awesome, big congrats!! I´ll try to make a similar exhaust but not sure here...

Oh she's back on the radar!! I have tried a couple times to see if someone had her after me as for some reason it was in auction for a while... It was absolutely faultless mate honestly. Never stepped a foot wrong, and honestly, if I hadn't had the opportunity to get into a meg i'd probably still have it now
@@chriskarte8160 the car actually had a tune on when i got rid, and some mods... Would love to see what it looks like now if you have insta or fb? Had a lovely custom exhaust made for it too
Ohhhhh so it's already been tuned? That saves me getting it done then. Do you know what bhp it was running? I've not got any pictures up of it yet. The cars getting a full detail done on the 16th. So I'll put some up after that's done. But yeah I'm on both.
They are just h&r spacers mate. Anywhere the does them in the 114.3 x 5 fitment. 66.1 centre bore. I tried looking them up where i got them from and they aren't even on the site anymore
Quality little cars mate. They have very little 'signs' really of a bad one... Just make sure its been serviced properly and regular. 2 things to sort/check, lower coolant clips are very common to fail which will result in it dumping all its coolant (not good) so get that changed/checked asap, and the cold side boost pipe is plastic and they can also pop and fail, and result in losing all boost so would recommend an aftermarket replacement asap
Absolutely worth a try! I was running 215/45 17 on this video but later switched to a 225 and got scrub due to the more aggressive offset of the sparco wheels
I think its pretty much standard mate figures wise, the figures are obviously measured from the flywheel, probably equates to the usual loss so probably 230ish to the actual wheel
I know this is from a while ago but when I had mine dyno'd they calculated a 20% drivetrain loss. Just for anyone else that sees this and was wondering.
Wassup man, appreciate the watch! As far as the box is concerned it won't need mapping no, you'll hit clutch limits way before the box starts throwing a paddy. If you were to running a hybrid/big turbo and pushing for 300+ then yeah the box would need tweaking. Would appreciate a sub if you get a sec man 👊
If you can afford it, i'd definitely recommend a trophy over a 200. I haven't personally driven a 200 but from what i do know the trophy (220) is the 'improved' version of the 200. Thats not to say they are bad by any means, but the things the 200 got ripped for, the trophy did right and they tried to rectify.
Dear, first of all I want to apologize if I am too critical. I love all these improvements and I praise them, but I don't know why it gives me the feeling that you have started the house with the roof, I imagine that you will have also done a repro to the ECU a Stage 1 or 2 or more. I consider that a vehicle with that power and seeing the brakes that it comes with from origin are one of the first things to modify, for various reasons, including safety. A caliper with only 1 piston, no matter how large a diameter it mounts, it is insufficient when making such a radical improvement in performance. I see that you have mounted a Power Flex link, have you only mounted that brand? You know that Power has a kit for the front wishbones with excentric screws that allow you to gain some pivot advance, as well as some camber, in addition to making that set more rigid and precise. Let's see, I have a Trophy and for the moment I have not boosted the engine, for me 220 hp are more than enough to go fast, but if I have put 4-piston brakes on the Pwer Flex and varied the geometry of both the front and rear, no I know if you know that the original rear axle has a brutal convergence, I reduced it by half and gave it more negative camber, although this type of set-up depends on your type of driving. In order not to bore you, I would try to improve the brakes in your case, you will notice the difference. Greetings and I apologize again.
No worries mate you can say what you like about it all. I would argue the brakes are absolutely still ample for this setup, with upgraded pads especially. I don't have the clio anymore, i have the megane rs trophy. If I would have kept the clio I would have upgraded brakes next. Cheers for the comment 🙏
Thanks dude! You can go map the car with no mods and it be fine man, just depends how much you want from it... Obviously you only pay the tune cost once and its the same price if you have mods or not, and obviously you'll make more with some bolt ons but if you're just looking for a little pick up then a map alone will be fine mate! Just might be a little tame compared to if you have some breathing mods
@@VersionOneUK No problem mate, thanks for coming back to me. So if I was to get this mapped stock, then get some bolt ons down the road when finances allow, would that still bring me the same performance, as if I brought the bolt ons before getting the map? Also, how was you're fuel consumption on those 200mile round trips after the map?
@@J_M_C_M you'd need to tweak to map to see the benefits of those mods mate, so maybe worth holding out till you get them all on, probably save you a bit of cash in the long run too... I don't have the clio anymore but it wasn't too bad on fuel, but i tend to drive everywhere in sport/race so that won't help 😂 but i definitely noticed it was more frugal after the map, don't really benefit pottering around town but longer journeys for sure
