I also grew up in a disfunctional Persian family that pushed me so much to be the greatest to the point that I broke down from the pressure. Even when I was #1 it just wasn’t enough. I never had a chance to be a kid and play, I had to study all the time. My parents gave me conditional love. They only showed approval if I had top grades. If I was average, I didn’t exist to them 😥Hearing your story makes me feel I am not alone in my Past traumas! Thanks for your transparency and honesty 👍👌

  • @tylerresto

Polyamory doesn’t mean you’re not satisfied in your relationship. It’s the understanding that you can love more than one person at a time, consensually. Also, one person should not have to and cannot satisfy all of your needs and desires (and that’s okay). You can be monogamous and still respect polyamory for people who choose to be honest and open about how they feel.

As somebody who identifies with the LGBTQ+ community, I appreciate your transparency. We deal with far too much performative allyship. I think I understand what you're getting at. LGBTQ+ people have been forced in to mainstream culture in a way that is dehumanising and pornographic. I agree that this contributes to the over-sexualisation of children, particularly LGBTQ+ children. It's worth clarifying that whilst some LGBTQ+ people do contribute to this issue, the existence and expression of LGBTQ+ people is in no way 'the enemy.' Many of us have been conditioned to believe that identity is only about sexuality. For example, there are drag performances that are not at all sexual, and are therefore suitable for children. I believe that many people are addicted to labelling themselves despite labels never bringing them fulfilment. Whilst claiming that you "don't use pronouns" is technically inaccurate, I understood the general sentiment to be that "pronouns are not significant to my identity or relationships", which is refreshing to hear. However, I don't think that the choice not to label is inherently superior; labels can be liberating, and are an unavoidable part of the human experience. Even though I'm not sure if I agree with your stance on HRT in children, I appreciate your critical approach and refusal to censor your beliefs. I encourage that if you plan to speak about transgender issues in future: Ensure that you have researched the topic, discriminating between fact and opinion; be vigilant of unhelpful shaming, fear mongering and exaggeration; and make sure that you have listened with an open mind to different perspectives, particularly those of transgender people.

Polyamory is the ability and/or choice to love more than one person at a time and engage in a loving consensual relationship with all involved. It doesn’t mean you love any of those people “partially” or “less” than two monogamous partners love each other.
The human’s capacity to love is pretty much endless and can’t be underestimated. In the same way we love multiple friends and family members simultaneously, in different ways and for different reasons, for some people this capacity is also carried over to their romantic relationships.

I feel like almost every non-American household went through a dysfunctional situation/life due to family culture values. Finding your self-worth through it all is very difficult especially as you age. Because that trauma was such a normal norm in your life that your brain overload it later. Totally relate and it's pretty difficult, but it will be less traumatic one day. Hang in there everyone.

The consequences of gender ideology on children and women are scary. It's time people wake up. + The more you think about it the less it all makes sense. What does it mean to feel like a woman ? I'm a woman and not because I like certain things, dress a certain way, am attracted to x type of people or anything else. I'm a woman because I'm female and I share some expériences with other women based on biology or because society treats women a certain way. That's it. This ideology is actually regressive and based on stéréotypes. When you see the number of young girls claiming to be trans skyrocketing when it used to be almost only a male thing... Very alarming.

If a girl was a tomboy or a boy was a little feminine, we accepted them. But there was no push to make them choose genders and all of that. There's this obsession with children and their gender and it is disgusting.

How is doing Drag oversexualizing oneself? I think a lot of it has more to do with our perception (and everything that influences our percepction) of things rather than what it actually is. 16 YOs becoming stars might be more concerning than drag shows. There are people who do not feel comfortable with their biological gender, but they should be adults when they place any decision. I feel like talking about gender fluity has become such a trend that even families who raise their children in a traditional way have come under pressure which I really am not OK with.

Try to figure it out. The human race has done it for centuries. It's only in the last decade that rich, white liberals struggle with the concept of pronouns.

We can just do it in the correct way we have been doing through out all of our history up until the last insane 5-10 years

I think it should be against the law for the pronoun people to be teachers. Be what you want to be keep our kids out of it!

@@Emmiiii267 the pronoun people are too busy telling the kids about their personal and adult life to actually educate children appropriately.

Miles, from one persian to another, from an ex vegan to a vegan.. try the damn carnivore diet. Your mind is cloudy and you cannot think straight, but it's clear there's lots of wisdom within. Experience the brain surge of lowcard / carnivore and express the power of our ancestors my friend!

Keep feelings out of your business dealings sweetie. It doesn't matter how much you love anybody. People don't love their own self in the first place. Don't mix that with business, because the losers will always take advantage of that and exploit your good nature. ❤️
