Cheers for the video mate. Curious about how the drone finds its way back to you after you launched it up through the bush canopy? Looks like it would be pretty hard to find that little hole to get back to you. Does it run a gps back to the base or something similar? Cheers
Gday Brad, Yea I let it register with the satilites first before take off or right above me above the canopy,so it can mark its home point where it took off from, so if you lose signal it will find its own way back, but normaly I just fly it back myself, its got compass n direction monitor etc,, just make sure it has about 20-30% battery when I get it back above me, ruins battery life if you run them too low.
Another great hunt Fred, some of the those flat ridges in the drone footage would be great spots in the roar. Did you get out in the roar? Manage to get any footage??
Thanks Lance, no I don't do the roar, too many people around that time of year for me, electric roarer's etc ,spooks me LOL. probably should go out, but have'nt for the last few years, shoot enough during rest of year to keep me happy.
Hey sorry about that, I was having sound issues with the camera on this vid, It would record good sound ,then next bit of footage it would record at a lower volume, a bit frustrating! thats why its a bit quiet,I have no subtitles available at the mo, you could just try turning up the volume if possible?
Thanks Chrispy, yea gets a bit steep n ugly in that spot, good for a deer in there though. having trouble with the sound on my gopro last 2 vids, might be time for a newer version
