@@lookatthem3216 While that sounds like great advice that every good motivational speaker loves to sell people it doesn't always apply to everyone as a blanket fix all. As in my case and many others like me there are factors that make it difficult and next to impossible like age, physical disabilities as well as financial means not to mention the mental capacity and confidence. It may also be the main reason why we gravitate towards people like Mav whom we can live vicariously through and appreciate him for what he does and shares with the rest of us whether he makes a living doing so or not. My only advice to give would be to go for it and live life to its fullest while you're young and physically able and to not put it off until it's a "better time" because that better time may never come around as life has a tendency to get in the way. Don't spend your life saving up and preparing for that once in a lifetime adventure. Do it now while you can and are able to enjoy it and look back on those memories later when you can't.

The knife making class looked fun! You did a nice job finishing that knife.
If someone ever says it’s hard to make friends/talk to people I’m just goin send them this video! Mav is making friends with people who don’t even understand him! It’s all about the energy you give off
JAPAN Looks really cool and the fact you can make your own knife is awesome. Loved the video mav and the fire festival looked like it would be alot of fun to be at...
That is way cool you are now traveling Japan! My home town is in the island off the main land called Shikoku in the prefecture called Kochi. The food their is phenomenal and fresh! The only down side is that they do not have too much english support so knowing a bit of Japanese would definitely help if you were ever to possibly take a look there. But this series is great and I want to go back to Japan so bad after watching it.
You don't miss much this days
This gives me a new perspective of Japan, something different from the urban cities and stuff that other RUclipsrs show. Also never knew Japan had this much nature, which is beautiful!
yeah Japan is so odd, can go from the most ultra modern packed cities, drive for like an hour or 2 and be in the most rural beautiful nature you can find anywhere
@@amythistxue1 yeah really cool. tbh before this series I thought Japan looked boring, and depressing almost, just because of the empty alleyways and dystopian cities ive seen in other videos. But that definitely isn't the case. I'm glad Mav is putting in the work and living the dream to show us!
My favorite thing about Mav and his channel is the sense of pure adventure and the thrill of each situation he stumbles into. Positivity goes a long way when your out doing your own thing on your own time. Love It.
What an absolute gem. I've always wanted to travel to japan since I was a kid and you did it in such a way that makes me feel jealous and not in a bad way. As someone from the midwest you were so respectful and decent. Absolutely loving the japan content. Keep on trucking!
I miss Japan! As a whole, they are thee nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever had the fortune to come across in my international travels.
I lived in Hawaii for 5 years (until 2020) as a special education teacher and made several Japanese friends there, a few of who I still keep in touch with. They were so kind and considerate! I wanted to go to Japan because the flights from Hawaii were really cheap, but I didn't have my passport! I had one colleague who went quite often and he showed me gorgeous pictures he took there.
Mav is living a good life. Well done young man.
Your the man. I wish I could do what you do. Having a family makes it tough but enjoy all of it while you can
love the fact that he visited a lot of underrated and unknown to the mass, places, the countryside etc.
How awesome is it that the locals befriended you and treated you to lunch! Truly amazing!! 😊 16:23
Japan is such a great place, it's amazing how everything is so organized and clean. Enjoy your visit!

This is my favourite video you have made yet. I am inspired by your perseverance to try new things when you could just keep to yourself. Thanks Mav, this is quality entertainment.
That knife is something to pass down to the Grandbabies! Too cool! And staying at the traditional hotel- Thank you so much for sharing!!
That dinner experience was next level & I am pretty sure the fire festival was traumatizing for me LOL you are amazing again TYFS

Mav, you are such an adventurous spirit bro! good on ya for trying something so completely out of your normal rotation. Your haircut is something else man! you never had a foul word to say -- ha ha. what a huge personality and willingness to go along to get along! Congrats on your adventure and your ability to stay so cool in a way outta pocket trip! thanks very much for the content Mav. Keep on truckin!
I love that you will always be a part of those strangers lives, and that we can all communicate and get along even with language barriers.
I love travelling, I love meeting people and impressing a small part of myself on their lives, like a dog ear in a book or a indent in the carpet. Wonderful
Did a port visit to Nagoya when I was in the Navy. Got to see a castle and everyone was very nice and polite. Looks like you’re having a great time!!!
This trip just keeps getting better and better.
I am so much enjoying this series’s of 🇯🇵 Japan. Beautiful Island. !! Thanks for sharing ‼️
You are the most easygoing person I have ever seen. For people with your personality, there's no language barrier.
I loved this video!! You remind us how small our world is. And how similar it can be, despite our differences. Also, I lost it at the Let Me Do it For You.
A great experience Mav! Thanks for sharing with us!
Probably one of the coolest experiences you could share with us Mav! That was awesome to see the process of forging that knife and watching you meet new people around the world. God I love this channel ❤
100%cool
So cool that you are in japan. Camping is a big hobby there. You Should visit campsites where you could see mt.fuji.
Thank you very much for your family-friendly channel. We really enjoy sitting down and watching your adventures. 😀
The land, people , and culture look beautiful.
Wow such nice people taking you to lunch! We should all try harder to make friends like that
You're an awesome young man, Mav. I love your adventures.
What a great trip so far and the people seem so nice as well.
Good job kiddo, glad you are having fun, I am enjoying seeing someone who isn’t like so immersed in loving Japan just going and having fun there.
Thank you for taking us on this trip. You are the man.
While making the knife, you should have worn safety glasses and hearing protection. But that’s just me caring about you. Peace.
I’m very proud of you Mav Keep On Trucking 🌎
Im proud of you too.
I am very happy that Mav introduced me to Japan. Please tell me good things about Japan
I love how impressed they all pretended to be for you when you cut the paper for the first time with your new knife. Japanese people are so awesome.
I haven’t gotten to that part of the video

This is awesome. Living through your camera has always been awesome.
Best video since Baja. Love seeing and learning about other cultures how friendly they are and the food they eat. The knife shop made me jealous, I want one. People seem great. Keep it coming.
