They really do love each other and I think they both understood each other very well. He is the king of Qin so he should do what he should do to protect her and their son. She wanted to be queen of Qin so she cannot expect him to act like a an ordinary husband. At the end of the day, I really love Zichu but for some reason I do not like Hao Lan very much.

Lyu Buwei at 30:45 is right. He is not the father and Hao Lan did not even accept Lyu Buwei as a lover and decided to keep him on break up terms so therefore, he does not even have to babysit the child. His main focus can be on Qin. Lyu Buwei never got Hao Lan pregnant. If Hao Lan don't agree to take Lyu Buwei as a lover, nobody can have a power to speak for Hao Lan and nobody have the right to convince Lyu Buwei to step in because he is not the father. As long as Hao Lan don't accept Lyu Buwei as a lover, then he won't have a job description to get involve babysitting her child.

Man, this show should have ended on Hao Lan's son ascending the throne. We don't need 4 episodes of her son being a brat and the rekindling of a relationship that should have died years ago.

Well the show is about her. But I’m not going to watch any more episodes. This is the worst C drama I’ve watched. From now on I’m reading reviews and scanning comment before selecting another series.
