    Rolling Stock: Alstom = PL42AC Locomotives #4002, #4009, and #4018; ALP-45A Locomotive #4543; Comet V Coaches and Cab Cars. EMD = NJT GP40PH-2B Locomotive #4216. Bombardier = ALP-45DP Locomotive #4527.
Due to a New Jersey Transit work train striking the overhead catenary wire between Morristown and Mount Tabor stations on the Morristown Line, all service was suspended west of Morristown on said line. While electric service was hindered, diesel service still operated as normal with minor revisions; however, they were all diverted via the Montclair-Boonton Line, thus increasing frequency in service west of Montclair State University. Normally, service is extremely limited between Montclair State University and Denville, so it was a treat to see the frequency of service increase for a change.
Normally, ALP-45A locomotives do not possess unrestricted K5LAs, but #4543 certainly breaks that cycle and I am glad to have captured that particular unit on camera.
Compared to the video I uploaded two days ago featuring my time at Little Falls, this is definitely an improvement since there is much more lighting, despite it being a mixture of Mercury Vapor and High Pressure Sodium. If I am being honest, I should have filmed at Towaco or Lincoln Park for my second station since the lighting would have been improved.
After Train #881 and Train #884, there were no other rerouted trains scheduled to run and since Comet V Cab Car #6013's horn is kinda crappy, there was no reason for me to stick around longer to film the latter of the two. While my times at Little Falls and Mountain View-Wayne consist primarily of PL42ACs, it certainly beats watching nothing but ALP-45DPs, so there is that.
If the resolution is not the best in either of the videos, I do apologize. I am still trying to figure out how to boost the quality of the videos I record to provide y'all with som quality content.
With that being said, the video is self-explanatory and I have said plenty, so I will leave it at that. If you guys enjoyed the video, feel free to drop a like, comment, subscribe, share the video with everyone you know, and I will see you on the next one! :D
