the prank was in their pre debut, so they couldnt make anything public without the company's authorization, thats why he said he couldnt take any pictures, the only people who knew treasure back then were the ones who watched Treasure Box, they basically made TMAP to attract more fans and create a hype before their debut, every content before Aug 7th 2020 is pre debut

Highly recommend you check it out ❤️ Lee Hi used to be a YG solo artist but she didn't renew her contract when it ended in december 2019. She is now signed to AOMG
On the brighter side, I think it's better that YG made a prank like that for them to actually get and understand the actual experience but without it being actual... You know what I mean? Like this concept probably opened their mind to the reality of the industry they are entering into. I just know that after this episode, members have this certain realization of the future waiting for them.
I feel like ep 21 was both a practice and a warning to treasure and teumes. It shows the boys how to unfortunately obsessive some fans (and sasaengs) can be and give them a look to know how to handle unfortunate encounters like this in the future and also a warning to teumes to never cross borders since the boys are clearly uncomfortable
During the prank episode I can say doyoung, yedam, and mashiho handled it really well. Calm doyoung, natural yedam and confident mashi. They did very well but choi hyunsuk....the way he worriedly explain to the fans how he really wanted to do it too but he can't at the moment, he's so happy and even got dissappointed after knowing it's just a prank 😭😅 He might be nervous everytime he meet fans online or even in person but everytime I watched fan interactions It just makes me want to meet him too because I can really tell how genuine he is towards them. He is surely the most emotional member who always consider others feelings and I really love him for that.💜💎
hard agree on the whole prank being lowkey triggering bc of the fact that it would probably be v uncomfortable for the idols irl
it's less startling when it's controlled like this but still ... sasaengs ruin everything fr - i was watching taeyong's live and he was SO frustrated, you could just tell he was over it
i hope no idol ever has to feel uncomfortable around fans
dw, the prank triggered me too lmao I'm glad they didn't seem upset over it, but I still felt really bad for the members that looked the most anxious when approached :( poor junkyu looked like he was about to faint-
Treasure experienced sasaeng fans during their one episode of TREASURE MAP. You'll watch it in their second season. And I'm glad that Treasure Map Editor call them up in that episode.

I understand how you felt in tmap ep 21😆 the girls are definitely doing wrong but it was probably what the director told them. It's funny, cringe and I felt protective at the same time. Hopefully actual fans don't learn from it because I really felt how uncomfortable my babies are in that situation.

About the ep 22. Before debuting doyoung and yedam wasn't living in the dorm yet. Now they do, in the season 2 they had new dorm's so now they have 3 dorm's (4to 5 members /1 room for each except Haruto and asahi who still share a room).
Isn't it 3 dorms with 4-5members each?

For the Prank cam I was triggered too but it's actually a good idea. There will be fans who will not be as respectful as we want them to be, so it's a good idea to just show them a lil bit of the world that they are getting into at such a young age. And btw Yedam and Doyoung didn't show their rooms because they are living with their parents, They live close I guess.

i knew episode 21 can be low key triggering, but i thankfull for this episode coz treasure and teume can learn something about idols and their fans. What good and bad when they meet, what idol feels when something happen, what fans feels when they meet. So both can handles well for real event.

yes i am also watching taeyong's ig live that time and that shit made me angry argh. i really get your point about fans because ever since i got into kpop sasaeng always finds a way to pissed me off >_<
i just remembered that there is one tmap episode where they are on a private vacation and sasaengs are following them from the plane to the actual destination aaaaa the editor even gave them a mini screen time with a lowkey exposing caption
edit: the tmap episode is ep 57 and the time where yg gave them a screen time is 6:16 - 6:19

Fact : that 3 girl actually an actress especially the one who wearing a glasses, on ep22 Yedam and doyoung doesn't have a room at their dorm on predebut since they still living with their parents but on debut filming and promotion they staying at the dorm, Yedam sleeping at Jihoon's room and haruto move to Asahi's room while doyoung sleeps at Junkyu's room
i agree with the ep 21 it was really triggering but i felt like the tmap producers had done this not just for treasure but also for the fans to see how these kind of situation can make idols uncomfortable esp junghwan 😢😢 maybe one of the reasons why teumes are really protective of treasure. there was an incident where fansites where starting to follow treasure during tmap production in s2 which is not an official sched and teumes called them out instantly. i think this contributes to that haha

22:00 Untitled 2014 is a song by GDragon. There's a show called YG Strategy Office. In one of the episodes, Seungri and YG trainees had a skit wherein they are having auditions/evaluation. Hyunsuk sang Untitled and imitated GD, that's why Jihoon told the 'fans' to make the special request to tease Hyunsuk 😅

The prank cam is also triggering for me but as it goes i realize it actually shows the other side of fans which are the obsessive fans that the tmap trying to advice to the future fans of treasure for that they know where to put their limits and learn how to respect/behave well... I mean when i watch it .. it really help the fans behaviour to understand the situation & never to be so obsessed ..... I think this prank video also helps the treasure makers behaviour if the scenario is the same with it .. like putting a line between fans to idol and soon if it happens we must respect privacy... Btw i hope taeyong is alright, he didn't deserve it :(( .. btw cant wait for the season 2 .. it get funnier 🤣😭

The whole T-Map season 1 is pre-debut so it is understandable that not a lot of korean locals would not know who Treasure is at that time, the only people who would know are the ones who watched their survival show, Treasure Box.

i guess the point of the prank is to get them used to fanservice since they haven't debut yet..it's their first time and seeing their reaction..they are really shy but love the attention..and others dont know what to do when they are nervous..even now they are still a little bit shy..but the exposure from this episode help them to overcome this situations
junghwan was afraid of girls during this time..but now he got used to it a lot now..its kinda wholesome to see them improve
You know what's scary, YG warned fans twice (or more than that) to respect treasure's privacy because it seems like someone has been invading their privacy. Jihoon also changed his number, he said it's because weird people keep on calling him. TMAP editor exposed fans who followed their supposedly private schedule. Treasure was also shocked that their personal infos such as home address was leaked online, they even said it's scary how easy it is for people to find those things out.

There are definitely psychotic fans RJ. That’s why the boys have to move dorms or have mentioned getting strange calls from people, and I’ve even seen weirdos trying to sell their info online. So you’re right to be a bit protective of them.

nct's situation is severe .. those fans are called sasaengs (obssessed fans) they r practically mentally ill they follow stalk use hidden caméras abd more .. and nct sadly has alot of them they letterally sleep close to their dorms and spend nights watching them ... recently treasure had some sasaengs too which leaked haruto's ig in 2019 and recently rent a boat and follow them to jeju island... ofc yg put on a statement threatning legal actions and lawsuits against any fan that violates treasure's private life

I really agree that it is upsetting that fans demands things to do to idols. Like, you are just a fan, demanding things to them and obeying it is not their work, for me. When fabs demand things on idols, they just shows that idols are just a product. That is why I love Seunghoon (Winner), Daesung (Bigbang) and GD (Bigbang) personality towards their fans. They really give that authority vibe that they scold fans that is already demanding. They drew a line that is where fans should only be.
