In custom ROMs you can long press power button to toggle torch and that's more handy than this And if I can't turn off 100% ads in MiUI 11 I'll be switching to custom ROM Once you use these custom ROMs and extra features by rooting, there's no going back

just updated my pocophone f1 to MIUI 11 and i got to say it does indeed feels smoother due to the animation improvements, but i noticed that many features you mentioned are missing, no Android 10, no ultra battery saver and more. I really like the dark mode but I would like to see some customization options, i am a super fan of dark mode in most apps but i'm not a big fan of solid blackness, i'd appreciate a way to choose a color of my liking. I also liked the Task option, i don't like having multiple icons on my home page so this is definitely an improvement. Floating calculator app is indeed a useful feature for people who use their phone as a calculator, i haven't had the chance to use it tho
As far as I remember I've used that calculator overlay feature on my LG Optimus G which was launched way way back. I'm mostly excited for system wide dark mode, which I used to do with Substratum theme on my Oneplus 2.
I own a redmi note 4 but my default calculator app already has these features for over 8 months now. Moreover, i didnot downloaded updates from any external source. Am i the only one who has this feature or anyone else also has this feature by default?
Updates are being downloaded by MIUI without acknowledgement of User ! These features are of MIUI 11 which is being added to MIUI 10 for testing but not introduced the feature And they introduce these feature in Launch event Previously this practice was done in #BetaROMs but as we all guys know Beta Program is stopped in Global version so they are pushing these updates in Stable Version This is the reason I Love MIUI ☺️
I like that you can close youtube while the video is playing and a small version of the video stays on the screen playing and you can move it around if it is covering apps you want to use. Tap it and it goes back to the youtube app, swipe the video down to close the app
Besides the Ads(which we can turn off easily with some work), MIUI is one of the best and feature packed UIs The animations are good, updates being something new, and there are tons and tons of handy features. I used to like MIUI and now I'm loving it.
I change the theme evey week....and with it sometimes come different features like edge apps.. Everytime it feels new....new charging animation. I'm so much into themes. And i can't leave MIUI because of this.

@@sreenathk.k9772 honestly i don't have a problem with K20 Pro getting MIUI 11 in the 2nd phase. It's better to have a perfectly stable ROM with Android 10... And there's hardly 10-15 days remaining so it's only a matter of few days before we get our hands on Android 10 based MIUI 11.
All the features r good but as far as i concerns my favourite updated miui feature is 'mi docs' becuz i use it at least 10 times per day nd i found it more comfortable it was before.. Thankuuu

The calculator app has life and finance sections (age, EMI, GST, etc.) even with MIUI 10. I have a Poco F1and I've been using these features for a long time now. Eagerly waiting for the MIUI 11 update, though!

I hope miui 11 adds an advanced voice recorder like on the pixel 4. It can transcribe voice to text instantly. Also, I hope they bring the "3D air gestures" that was present on miui 10 beta to miui 11 stable(mi9)

It's waste because poco got a ips lcd. Dark mode is good for led displays to save battery but in lcd dark mode takes more battery

The calculator app has life and finance sections (age, EMI, GST, etc.) even with MIUI 10. I have a Poco F1and I've been using these features for a long time now. Eagerly waiting for the MIUI 11 update, though!
