Thanx so very much 4 posting this-one of my fave piranhas trax BTW anyone out there remember a snazzy little B-side of theirs called --I'm gonna get (well away) ? -bout a guy escaping the domestic ennui of xmas day family gatherings n' sneaks "dahn the pub" gave me hours of enjoyment that one !!!---I seemed 2 enjoy there B-sides just as much if not more than their A-sides !!!
Always wondered what his real name was. They all used to call him Zoot Alors. Excellent group. Saw them many times in Guildford. You can be proud of your dad and his mates. They played good, witty, clever music, and they always behaved impeccably.
The Piranhas were a great live band and the songwriting was funny as - as displayed here! They should reform and do a tour of the UK - any chance of a gig in the north east lads?

This & Getting beaten were the on the B-Side of Tom Hark. I probably played these more than Tom Hark. Great tune the pair of them.
Actually Zoot is called Phil Collis. Dominic is the guy who plays with them now because Zoot lives in the USA.
