I know its at least a month before most want to even think about Christmas and yes Thanksgiving is first but many are already decorated when Thanksgiving comes rolling around because the next day is officially the countdown to Christmas for many. Those who know me know I never followed any specific rules or time frames when it comes to Christmas. I dont just watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas music in December. For decades I have been decorating long before many even wanted to entertain the fact that Christmas was only weeks away. For us Christmas lovers the BER months kicks it off for you. LOL. The leading up to has always been the mosting exciting for me.
I use to begin decorating Oct. 31st and through the entire first week of November but now start around the last week in September through the first week of October. I start with my Jesus tree that I started putting up in 2020 so this is the 4th time its been put up. If I am wrong I will come back and correct myself.
The video stopped before I could close it out the way I really wanted to so I will do it here. I ended by saying I am not trying to dictate how others should celebrate Christmas in their home I am only sharing with you how I celebrate it in mine. Yes, there is other decorations that will be displayed that dont necessarily point to the birth of Christ and there is nothing wrong with that as long as you keep things in persepctive to your beliefs. I love Christmastime and I just had to have portions in my house that pointed directly to the most important reason for the season. Jesus will always get that honor in my home and in my life because in my heart is where He is and will remain.
