Leaving all that military equipment was disgraceful enough but not to give orders to permanently disable it should be grounds for impeachment alone.
Its worse when you realize that they also refused to give any of the equipment to vetted and actual allies within the ANA like General Sadat’s troops and Special Forces who fought til the bitter end. Not only did we leave the equipment, our leaders made sure that the few good guys left in Afghanistan weren’t able to effectively fight back against the Taliban. It was a huge betrayal.
Now when I think about it, it had to be done on purpose, possibly USA wants Afghanistan to destabilise Iran.
