To answer your question at 11:40, yes the people on stage are the voice actresses for the characters in the show, same for all of the other bands. Fun fact, the drummer for Roselia applied for the position having never played drums before, but vowed to practice for the part, she got the role and has stuck with it ever since.
Compared to Poppin' Party, Roselia's songs in the beginning are a bit fast, because of this all of the members of the band are struggling to perform their songs live as they're voice actors first before becoming musicians, but eventually they got better at it. Also the vocals for Roselia had a hard time hitting the notes on a lot of their songs in the beginning.
Great video, and really nice breakdown of the music itself. It's always cool to see new people discover Bandori and its groups. If you enjoyed LOUDER, you might also be interested in some other songs by Roselia. FIRE BIRD is a classic and easily their most famous song. Song I am is a sequel to LOUDER. And other songs like R, Neo-Aspect, and Ringing Bloom are also very well-loved by fans. To answer your question: yes, the people on stage are the VAs for the characters! Bandori grew out of the idea of mixing 2D stories (manga, anime, game) with real-life performances, so you do have that sort of duality between "fictional band" and "real band" that you'd see in something like The Monkees. Roselia is just one part of the franchise; there are a bunch of other super talented groups that perform different styles of rock. Roselia probably has the most unique history of all of them, given that none of their members were experienced musicians when the band was formed. They all learned from scratch (or close enough to it). Even their vocalist had no prior vocal training prior to being scouted for the band. All together, it makes for a super interesting lil project to follow :)
Let me draw your attention to another Japanese all female rock band "Raise A Suilen". They were originally formed as the backing band for the anime franchise "BanG Dream", so they were already accomplished musicians, but now, fronted by the imposing Raychell on bass and vocals and the addition of Risa Tsumugi as DJ, they are a great band in their own right. Please react to Raise A Suilen: R.I.O.T. live; ruclips.net/video/VTXV_VHym7c/видео.html
I encourage you to look into the story behind the lead singer. It is really rather moving. If you liked this, you should look in to the live performance of there song Fire Bird.
Copied straight from wikipedia BanG Dream!, also known as Bandori!, is a Japanese music media franchise owned by Bushiroad. Created by Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani in January 2015 with original story by Kō Nakamura, the project began as a manga before expanding to other media. In addition to other manga, BanG Dream! includes an anime television series, live concerts, singles and albums, and the mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! by Craft Egg. The Voice Actors for the characters also serve as actual real performers/musicians for their respective group. There's 9 bands in the franchise, 7 of which are more known as they are available in the mobile rhythm game while the other 2 are still fairly new and are still waiting to be integrated into the franchise. Of the 7 bands I mentioned earlier, only 4 bands have their Voice Actors perform live concerts in front of a crowd, these are Poppin' Party, Roselia, RAISE A SUILEN, Morfonica. The other 3 bands rarely have any live performances due to the fact that they're voice actors are too busy and are prioritzing their jobs as a voice actor than a live performer, these bands being, Hello Happy World!, Afterglow, and Pastel*Palettes Roselia is an all-girl band in the BanG Dream! franchise. The group consists of five members, namely Minato Yukina(VA:Aiba Aina) on vocals, Hikawa Sayo(VA:Kudou Haruka) on guitar, Udagawa Ako(VA:Sakuragawa Megu) on drums, Shirokane Rinko(2017-2018 VA:Akesaka Satomi 2018-Onwards VA: Shizaki Kanon) on keyboard, and Imai Lisa(2017-2018 VA:Endou Yurika 2018-Onward VA: Nakashima Yuki) on bass. They debuted with the song BLACK SHOUT.
They have another music media franchise called D4DJ, which stands for Dig Delight Direct Drive DJ. Which, as you can tell are DJ based. Some of the voice actors from Bang Dream are also in D4DJ and they also perform for their respective group over there.
The songs I recommend from the other bands are: Poppin' Party - Star Beat Morfonica - Daylight RAISE A SUILEN - A Declaration of xxx Roselia - BLACK SHOUT I would also like to recommend songs from their other music media franchise D4DJ, Happy Around - Happy Music Peaky P-key - Electric Chaos Countdown Photon Maiden - Wonder Wonder Trip Merm4id - round and round RONDO - Calendula Lyrical Lily - Certified Human!!!!
