Interesting fact about this song: early on in the process of this song Linkin Park held a fan competition through their website where fans would download stems of this song then remix them with any instrument & even re-write parts of it of they wanted to then it would go to a vote to determine the winner. The top 20 remixes that were sent in are currently being considered as b-sides that may be released at some point

I would say that you should eventually listen to all of the songs on the album. The more popular ones are Waiting for The End, Burning in the Skies, and Iridescent (these have music videos). I also recommend listening to When They Come For Me and Wretches and Kings, and Blackout (they have more of the heavier grit you seemed to be waiting for in this song).
A Thousand Suns is so underrated. I second listening to it all the way through at some point, it's an experience and there's so much shadowing between songs and the interludes it all comes together so beautifully. The little snippets of historical audio when you look into their history adds so much meaning too.
A Thousand Suns (The Catalyst is on this album) is the most underrated album you'll ever hear. It is a concept album and has such deeper meaning than what you initially think at face value and, it also all joins together and sounds like one big song
My favorite LP song, off of my favorite LP album. I remember being so excited the first time I listened through the whole thing. It was so different. And it made me feel so many things. I just sat there listening, thinking "I can't wait for the tour." The songs off this album played beautifully live too. No matter how many times I saw them in concert, I really wish I had seen them more.
Burning in the Skies (also from A Thousand Suns, love that album!) is lyrically amazing and has a good music video. Off of Living Things, Lost in the Echo has an AMAZING music video, though In My Remains is my favorite off that album. All would be great to react to!
The entire A Thounsand Suns album has a special sound, and most of the songs are longer than normal. Actually, every album has its own typical sounds and vibes

You liked Chronos - Parkway drive I Highly suggest listening to The Blue and The Grey - Parkway Drive. My personal favorite parkway song. Intensely emotional song. Especially that solo at the end.
A Thousand Suns to me is the best LP album, its so creative and different, the whole album is a statement, the order of the songs is awesome, its like a full project where everything is connected, and the art of the album and the advertisement pictures represented the sound so well.
Great song..Chester always puts 100% into anything he's singing. If you havent done it yet check him out doing Adele's Rolling in the deep. Also dig the Penn State hanging on the wall.

This song is longer in studio version. For me the third EDM switch has a better beat. The song ends with the same beat at the end of studio version. They cutt it off at the end of the official video , but is the most attractive of all 3 Edm beats, i personally will cut somwthing from the begginng with is more repetitive but not the one on the end. But this song is really good too. Nice choice. Very different, keep reacting to LP
