This book meant so so much to me, and I'm so glad she wrote it and did such an incredible job with it. I didn't have any personal issues with being ace--like, I didn't feel badly about it or think I was broken or anything. But this made me feel so reassured that there is nothing wrong with me and who I am is 100% okay.
Thank you for this comment! Yes! It also made me realize that I have not read many books about asexuality or stories by/about asexual characters. It has inspired me to write more ace characters in my own writing! So happy that you also loved this book and found great affirmation in it 🧡🧡
Thank you so much for this book review! It meant a lot to me. This was truly a book of enlightenment and affirmation for me. It wasn't until I read it that things I'd felt(or not) my whole life became clear. I am ACE. You are correct in saying it is life changing to have a name and recognition for how you identify. I on!y wish I hadn't spent the first 65 years of my life thinking I was broken. Thank you again!💕💕
Thank you so much for this comment!! I am glad that you also found solace in this book. I did not want to get too personal in my video but reading this book was also a "lightbulb" moment for me to realize I am ace. I hope to share this book with many others. Sending you love! 🧡🧡
What a wonderful review! I was referred to your channel by Kim and so glad I was. I have someone close who I want to give this book to. I want to read it also so I can understand.Aloha
Please add the words "or rarely." It's been part of the definition for a decade and a lot of us thought we experienced sexual attraction sometimes and thought we weren't ace, including the author. And leaving those words out invalidates gray aces and demisexual people.

Having words for things SO changes self acceptance! I so agree

I'm old but if "having a word for" whatever one is helps one can tell me the word and I'll use it. When people tell you who they are BELIEVE THEM!
