I have to agree with other commenters. the speedups are too fast. It felt like my eyeballs were being ripped out trying to follow what you were doing.
(This is my second account -uni) The point to speeding it up was because the part that I showed how to build was basically repeated on all sides, so to save time, I speed it up, as it was just a repeat of what I have already done. Plus, It made the video about half an hour long. If I had not speed up anything, the video would be a whole hour.

Here I am, 8 years later. Making a 61 wide sphere. I've used quite literally a mountain's worth of dirt and I have the outline done and am now starting to fill it out. I'm *definitely* not dying on the inside yet

Why is everyone complaining about the speed ups , he explains and shows EXACTLY what to do and then he speeds it up on the rest so it's not repetitive instructions
also on pc you can slow down the video on your own.

if its too fast then just change the speed to slower lol not too hard
I saw a bit of a pattern, and it turns out I wasn't just seeing things... This method looks best if you use circles and spheres with prime numbers for their diameters.
Tried it with a 41-block diameter hemisphere (making the bottom of Laputa) and it looks fantastic. Thanks for the tutorial, Unicraftinguy! ^^

Finally a good video tutorial on domes the good ol fashion way! Thank you, Uniboi. I would have mentioned that the key is layering circles by upsizing the diameter by 2 blocks each circle layer. All in all very easy to follow I know understand how to make domes of any size after learning first how to make circles of any size.

Dude thanks for this, just made this in survival and it helped a lot. As for the clowns that couldn't figure out a pause button , 34 minutes seemed long enough to follow, maybe you should have done the whole thing in slow motion and made it an hour and a half video for all the haters

This is so hard to do from the inside, one tend to confuse a lot...
from a mathematical stand point the ratio for the diameter is: for every 7 blocks you build from the center, you will have to build 3 off from the end point. (diameter of 15 built one off of each end making it 3. diameter of 29 is 7 x 2 and he built to a total of 6 blocks at the end) this formula could be used for multiples of 7 for spheres. from a diameter of 7 to infinite it will always work. (im not saying this will only work by a diameter of 7 but if you want a quick formula this is an easy way.)
Thanks bro you just helped me build lavos from chrono trigger wont spoil what the actual build is but underground is where lavos is with lava around him which now I'll have to finesse the rest of his body hopefully the spikes and shit will get it close but that's another issue entirely thanks again

I built it instead of 29 58 it is freaking huge and took hours but worth is im going to build a massive space station

(Just an update) I found out that if you try going bigger with the dimensions of the sphere, like lets say a 35 diameter circle instead of the 29 as shown in the video, the sphere will look less spherical. This is why I said it was a concept, so I will need to rethink some aspects of this concept, and once I come up with a solution, I will make another video explaining the fix. : P

Doing this without a tutorial was difficult, i ended up making a "compressed meatball".
Love this video. I'm playing a game called Space Engineers which is also voxel based. I'm building a mini death star and this video helped a lot. But god damn the third half circle was hard to follow.

there is this command: //sphere {block},{combine with another block},{same procces here} then choose how big you want it to be..also you can do //sphere {block} and it will do with only the block you choose... how to do sizes:,10 ,21 ,1 ,24 ,9 ,51, basically whatever number you'd like

I have watched this video so many times because I keep forgetting how to make a sphere. Everytime I build something that requires a sphere or half sphere I end up back at this video.

Extra Ordinary ok! Biggest at the bottom, medium on the top of big and small on top! Then on top add eyes and mouth and carrot as nose and add sticks on medium

This helped alot on making my map because all the ones with the commands dident work and it might take longer but it's way easier and works and I spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to make one the diameter of 40 but I finally got it and the top had to be 11 wide instead of 7 for the big one and I did the rest the same while making some adjustments but in the end it worked realy well and this video was very helpful

if you want to build a dome on a flat space then you can just use this method but only use the top half of the sides and the top.
