Just stumbled onto the TorC video this morning, courtesy of the YT algo! Love it. Great camera work between the two of you. Love that you interview locals. Can't wait to visit TorC! Like you I love New Mexico too.
Riverbend Hot Springs is my kind of place - it just exudes peace and tranquility, and those views! The restroom next to the Vomit Comet - not EVEN close enough for me lol. Safe travels wherever you are & stay well.
I love this New Mexico series you have going! I’m a native New Mexican and often times we are overshadowed by our education system, the drug problem and crime. Yes those are terrible but looking past those it’s a beautiful state with amazing culture, history, food and land! Thank you for exploring it and I hope you guys have another video of New Mexico soon!
Those hot springs looked so beautiful and relaxing,it deserves a check on my bucket list. Another exciting and informative video. This is why I look forward to Sundays. ❤️
riverbend is awesome when the river is running. By the way, it doesn't run all year, so be sure to check before making travel plans and don't forget to visit our vietnam veterans wall and our most awesome historic military museum that has some amazing artifacts documenting the military service of New mexicans
This one was amazing! 💞 Definitely going on 'the list' when we make it out that way. Troy heard the word stout and was all in. 🤣 Thanks for sharing. -Troy & Aimee
I'm loving this series. We travel to NM a fair amount due to living in AZ, but we've never made it to Truth or Consequences. One of favorite places was a B&B near Taos. They told us about an excellent restaurant called The Stakeout, too. It was a little ways out of town, but excellent and worth the wait.
Thanks, Kerry! We'll add Stakeout to the list. Considering more locations in New Mexico now, maybe we'll do a Taos/Northern New Mexico episode! 👍 - Howard
I just love the stories. The hot springs adventure, wow! That family has created a wonderful place for people to relax and enjoy. I can imagine the owners being ready to retire and be part of the 'here to enjoy' crowd instead of keeping on working trying to keep up with the modern guest and their needs/wants. That brewery was a wee bit bigger than the one I visited last week. Looked awesome. 🍺 Then the Space centre. Wow, who knew. You were so game Katelyn- always the thrill seeker. Well done you. Howard, how very observant of you- the positioning of the toilets 😂 😂 😂 ! Have a great week you two. 👍 💖 🇳🇿 🙋♀️ 🇳🇱
Excellent taste in favorite spots! I bet you two enjoyed Europe but glad to see you back in the U.S. Katelyn's a game Gal! What *Spaceport America* _didn't_ tell you: It's New Mexico's *Newgrange* complete with celestial alignments.
So much to see (and eat!) in NM. I’m rethinking my itinerary for when I’m out there for the Balloon Fiesta. The centrifugal launcher is very interesting!
Loved this video as-well! I think we may have to take our “Lucy” and re-visit New Mexico! We were just there two weeks ago, but haven’t visited T or C as yet. Fun and fascinating story of how that gentleman and his family found and quickly bought that hot springs land…it was just meant to be. Katelyn, my dear, I give you EXTRA Brownie Points for going through that strapped-in tumbling space chair (oh, whatEVER you call it!). There is no way, nada, not even in your dreams would I have attempted that. My tummy would have none of it! Thanks for sharing, as always. Love ya, Virginia
Who Dey, Big Jim! I didn't know about the ranch (bless you, Google), but from the description it says it was located in Ribera. That's much further north than Truth or Consequences, I would say closer to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Went down the rabbit hole a little reading up on the ranch! 😂👍 -Howard
Thanks, Don! We have a Thule EasyFold XT2. Excellent rack for ebikes, and to my knowledge the only one with a built-in ramp for loading. There's a used one on Amazon right now (check at the bottom of this link amzn.to/3M0vn9d ) if you want to save a few bucks, too. 👍 -Howard
Thank you so much for your concern, Nemo. Truth or Consequences is a 25 mile drive to Spaceport America and we don't hear any noise. The closest reservation, Mescalero, is 147 miles away. One thing we have in New Mexico is space.
,guess what nemo- new mexico is not largely populated by native Americans. Our Hispanic population is the largest ethnic group at 48 percent, whites at 36 percent and native Americans at 10 percent. Everyone hears the rockts- some more than others
T or C is nothing like what is shown.. I live nearby and it's 70 yo women with blue hair wearing tube tops all named karen.. Don't even stop for gas just save some time and keep rolling

It's officially Sunday night. The Newstates are in the house.🌹👍🌹
❤ Thanks so much! Enjoy Truth or Consequences! -Howard
Love your videos!!! We can wait to see all they places you share!
Thank you both so much! 👍 -Howard
I grew up in those minnow hot tubes. Love the Foerstners!!! The springs has always been a spiritual palace. I’m so glad to see it evolving.
Thanks....per usual you guys are amazing travelers !!
Lou, thanks so much! It's the support from Navigators like you that help us share these adventures!! 👍 -Howard

Troy and Aimee, so glad you enjoyed this episode! And yes to the Stout, it was delicious. 🍻 👍 -Howard
Wow !!! You are off the porch from ladders to g force machine my guess is skydiving next week thanks for the fun !!!
Chris, I'm all in on skydiving! We did Paragliding down in Mexico, and that was a LOT of fun. 👍 -Howard ruclips.net/video/1stAW32DUSI/видео.html

Wow that spaceport area looks really fun thank you so much for sharing this ,
Great job as always, Take care
Ha! I’ve always wanted to know why it’s called Truth or Consequences! I was fascinated by Spaceport America. The “vomit comet” looked super cool! 😂🤢
So much to see (and eat!) in NM. I’m rethinking my itinerary for when I’m out there for the Balloon Fiesta. The centrifugal launcher is very interesting!

Ok well that was awesome. What a cool little town. Add that to the list….I’ll pass on the 🤮 vomit ☄️ comet 😂
That makes two of us! I can't do spinning rides like that. 😂 Hope you can visit T or C someday! 👍 -Howard
Outer Edge Pizzeria!!! Have you seen the Keifer Sutherland movie, TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, NM?
👍 🤟
👍🍻
There is a lot more to do than I’d imagine in Truth or Consequences. Didn’t Don Imus have a children’s ranch near there? Who Dey 🐅
😂👍 -Howard
Great video. I have the same two ebikes. What type of bike carrier did you buy? Any plans on coming to California? Thanks Don
👍 -Howard
Also, my best guess on California/West Coast would be late summer / early fall with the way our work/travel plans are shaping up!
How did you not visit elephant Butte?
Sorry you lost Cruses. I hope you find him. 😏
New Mexico is largely populated by native people on reservations. How does the noise and vibrations of the spaceport rockets impact them?
Thank you so much for your concern, Nemo. Truth or Consequences is a 25 mile drive to Spaceport America and we don't hear any noise. The closest reservation, Mescalero, is 147 miles away. One thing we have in New Mexico is space.
