A lot of people seem to be concerned about my putting the plastic in the bushes. Let me assure you that I picked it up immediately after the shoot was over and placed it in the proper receptacle. Though it begs the question: is it really littering if it's on your own property?

I just checked out their iphone 11 and 11 pro drop test and let me tell you, they are heavily biased in favour of Apple! For iphone 11 they used a crane and dropped uniformly on a super smooth surface but for the Note 20 we all saw they dropped on that so rough pavement! In the iphone drop test they even dropped from much greater height, at that point atleast it should have shattered, still no major damage which means the test was useless!! PHONEBUFF did the tests in EXACTLY SAME environments for both the phones and we all saw iPhone got totally destroyed while the Note 20 Ultra survived! And that sandpaper scratch test was hilarious!! Doesn't make any sense lol!

Lets be real here. Any claim made to prove that the marketing gimmick regarding victus mambo jumbo, is clearly a joke. I hoped it COULD survive at least the 6ft drop but that failed miserably. This is a complete joke. Frankly i see no point investing in any gorrila type glass and market it as a resistant type of material UNLESS you can ASSURE that it can survive at least the basics drop scenarios. Put a typical glass on it, reduce the price and say " this phone needs protection". Period.
And i am a Note 8 user, not a Apple fanboy , just a guy who loves tech.
Ps: Glass is glass. It is. But when you charge +X $$ for "the best glass that really protects your device" and market it this way, then NO. This is false advertising.

I'm reading comments from people saying that this test wasn't fair and I'm literally astounded. The phone got damaged right on cue with what you'd expect. This is actually a helpful video that doesn't pretend like these phones are made of adamantium. Thankfully I haven't dropped mine as of yet, but there's a tiny chip on one of the edges that I can't really even recall causing. Literally never seen something like that on an iPhone or my older Android's. This phones is fragile as far as I'm concerned.

It actually does come with a pre-installed screen protector. Just look around the front camera hole and you'll see the cut out. I also didn't think it had a pre-installed, but I called Samsung and they said there was in fact one and I realized that there was one when changing my case it started to bubble LOL

Why is he droping it at a angle with his hand and he is at a tilted ground which isn't really fair for the phone... Plus, at the angle of his hand and the angle of the ground, is would focus the impact to be between the opposite corners of the phone that is why you see the phone bonce in the first drop and the damage only being in 2 corners.

Apple biased channels everywhere!! And that scratch test wth sandpaper was hilarious Lol!!

As someone already commented "Glass is glass and glass can break". Thats the sad truth, theres no glass that wouldnt scratch or break. My old Nokia Lumia was supposed to have a scratch resistant unbreakable gorilla glass and guess what? It got scratched by my keys and also broke the first time i dropped it on the ground... Since then I have used a flip case to cover my phone.

Though I appreciate this video, I can say that I'm a faithful Samsung customer... long before they had this durable glass...I did drop an S5, and the glass shattered and in touching it, I was injured. Since then, I've had screen protectors and Otterbox cases on all my phones, including the S21 Ultra I just got. One of my former phones went out a car window going along the highway at 80 or 90km/hr-- the phone was fine, and the case was only cracked. Seeing this, what I like is that the glass, even if cracked, won't cause injury. Great job Samsung!

I don't have a great deal of faith in this glass. I'm not sure if I got a defective unit but I got a hairline crack towards the top left of the screen by doing nothing more than inserting the memory card tray. The phone was never dropped or banged and I only had it for a week and a half. My friend reached out to me recently to tell me his phone, that has been in a full-protection case, also developed a crack on the screen without any impact that would cause a crack. I've had smart phones dating back to 2008 and I've never cracked a screen.
