Dude I don’t think you know how amazing it is hearing your breakdowns for why you are throwing certain shots/how you throw certain shots it’s incredible. Appreciate you Rick
This is so much better than Jomez practice rounds. Just straight to the point about why and when without any nonsense chit chat. Can watch a whole movie/documentary series with just Ricky trying new courses
8:28 I love that you are giving us a clinic. This season I taught myself to stop trying to absolutely pin every approach shot. If I can easily get to 14-18’ from the basket, do that. Being parked rarely was happening. Most of the time it’s a shank into first available. Open the gap up and take the easy line. Thank you Ricky, good luck out there! Congrats at Preserves.
“A lot of amateurs want to throw the flex to hyzer out and get cute, and I can do that, but it brings in more variables” Literally perfectly does what every amateur dreams of. I love Ricky, and every one of these breakdown videos are gems.
Amateur: misses ALL of the circles on upshot. Ricky: parks upshot under basket while attempting to demonstrate a bad amateur upshot. 🤣 An all-timer is gonna all-time. 👍 As always, your analysis and raptor enthusiasm is appreciated in your vids. Have fun in Europe!
Simon is like your buddy on the course. Richard is like your coach. Both are awesome! Great content all around. I can learn both ways ok....Getting better, Helping to GROW our beloved sport EVERY DAY.
Man, I'm bet you're stoked to be playing over in Europe. Looks like a great work vacation! That's an awesome looking course and what a great start to the tournament too. Cheers!
So unbelievable impressed by this. First time playing and crushing it. Describing everything you do is extremely educational. Hope to see you on saturday. Have VIP tickets so will try and go with you group.
Really cool, Rick! I play in Sweden every year, and it's a fantastic place to play. Ale White (3rd best rated) and Serpent Hill in Lulea are some great courses if you have time. Good luck, and have a blast!
Informative and helpful videos like these will make me think of Dynamic Discs when I go to purchase discs! I don’t know the discs that have Ricky’s name on them but this video makes me want to go look! It also makes me want to buy other discs. If I didn’t see this video I probably would have less interest in them.
Good to see for any of us thinking we can play with these guys and then you see how their putting is when they’re just casually throwing a round and you’re like whoops nevermind. Same thing as when Calvin plays at cliff down here for handicaps and shoots a mediocre -14
I think you might want to throw the non cotton candy trust in the fire lol I don’t think you had a good throw with it every time you touched it, the cotton candy one is money thou
Ricky's delivery on these course practices are great. The way his explains what he is trying to do is fantastic.
really gets into the mind of how the pro is mentally breaking down a new course.
All while consistently draining C2 putts like I do at 10ft😅
And hitting every line he is trying to accomplish to like 99% precision. Calling flips, ground play and variables while near perfectly executing! ❤
Dude I don’t think you know how amazing it is hearing your breakdowns for why you are throwing certain shots/how you throw certain shots it’s incredible. Appreciate you Rick
Watching Ricky bang in putts from everywhere is really entertaining.
I really enjoy all the informative tips and reasoning. Your tips are easy to understand and they are for the average joe.
Thanks for All the teaching along the way
The most informative practice round I’ve seen in ages. You’re really good at explaining disc golf
I love how you're sprinkling in little tips on throwing and putting in all these vides. Super helpful. Thanks for the free tutoring 🙂
This is so much better than Jomez practice rounds. Just straight to the point about why and when without any nonsense chit chat. Can watch a whole movie/documentary series with just Ricky trying new courses
Ricky is one of those players who is universally good for the sport. The enthusiasm and competitive energy he brings pushes the sport.

That part was SO CRAZY!!! "Try to get cute," absolutely parks it on command.
All this advice for amateurs is priceless… I’ve learned so much about how a pro thinks, it’s great and thank you 👍🏻

Great tips in these videos to go along with the great energy. Welcome to the nordics, hope you have a blast!
Damn the commentary on this is so useful… big difference from most people’s channels which are more focused on “having fun”
This course is so beautiful, no wonder there’s walkers everywhere lol
Thinking the same thing. This place is insane

Ricky really seems excited and happy to play/practice here in Europe. 🎉 Welcome. Enjoyed watching this one!
Animal! Hole 9 and 10: Breaking it down for us, Ams! Love it, and so on-point. I would say, Get out of my head, but I need the lesson!🤣
Best course preview/practice round in the biz!👏🧝🥏🌳
Good luck out there Ricky!
I agree with all the comments. Best practice round with all the great advice.
Simon is like your buddy on the course. Richard is like your coach. Both are awesome! Great content all around. I can learn both ways ok....Getting better, Helping to GROW our beloved sport EVERY DAY.
How does someone who's only had 3 hours sleep look so energetic? I'd be falling asleep on the tee pad.
I think in general most young fit healthy people can pull off an all-nighter every now and then
Let's Go Rick!
These practice rounds are really great, really love how you explain your decision and the tips for amatures!! Keep it up❤
Beaut of a course. Holy cow. What a great video.

God this course looks so sick!
Man, I'm bet you're stoked to be playing over in Europe. Looks like a great work vacation! That's an awesome looking course and what a great start to the tournament too. Cheers!
"Don't try to get the perfect shot, go for the consistent shot" - big takeaway for me!
Matty Orum said he's always aming for the biggest gap even if there are better lines in a smaller gap. Wise words.
Great breakdowns
I enjoyed meeting you before this round was recorded, welcome to Borås🙌
Great insights, thanks for sharing!
Need more of these
Great video, Ricky. Learning great tips and being entertained. You got skill, man.
Nice video Ricky! Thank you!
Love these videos Wysocky really shares his disc knowledge ❤👍👍🤘
These practice rounds are so good, Ricky is a great teacher.
So unbelievable impressed by this. First time playing and crushing it. Describing everything you do is extremely educational. Hope to see you on saturday. Have VIP tickets so will try and go with you group.

Thanks for teaching me how to better play my home course.
Do you put with the sockibomb dagger or the normal ones? If it’s the normal one, what plastic❤
Fantastic video btw you learn so much from these❤😊
Do more practice round like this. Enjoy you walking through the shots and what you are thinking. No shennanigans like other channels' practice rounds.
awesome documenting, what's the disc name ob them with the colored rim ?
Informative and helpful videos like these will make me think of Dynamic Discs when I go to purchase discs! “The speed, the angle and the height are the most important here” lol
I thought Rick was just good and built for discgolf. Turns out he's also a discgolf genius. Call it, do it, explain it. Incredible
Nice

The title could have been “Master class with Ricky”😮🎉
Pay attention.
This is a masterclass in disc golf theory
*For me, 15 feet is a huge tester.* 😅
What mid did you throw on hole 11?
He said flippy midrange, going by his 2023 in the bag that would be a beat in Compass.
Your putting is just like mine, just 100% better !
I'm 5:48 pesky Dinker tree lol
If any pros watch this and score better because of it they should thank Ricky😁
Ricky! whe need a new vlog!
Congrats on your major win in Europe.
Look out Jomez.
Hope you can go to ale after . You should like the course
I think you might want to throw the non cotton candy trust in the fire lol I don’t think you had a good throw with it every time you touched it, the cotton candy one is money thou
Putter was dialed.
It's almost as if he made this instructional video just for me (the amateur).
Hehe. 🤢 I quit
Ricky which generals are the beefiest???
I would say blue or green!!
@@RickySockibombWysocki thank you so much for that... I'm loving the general so far
