Pro tip you should have used 2 diodes for reverse current and voltage, also put them o a radiator cause they heat a bit up, that way you won't blow up the power supply.
Hi, I liked the video, congratulations! I want to make this charger but my power supply is a little different than yours. I have a 12V/30A power supply and the resistor to replace is 1.5K, should I replace it with a 500 Ohm one or how many Ohms? Thank you.
This is a 12V power supply to which I added a function to adjust the voltage to 16V so that I can charge a car battery. But the only drawback is that you cannot control the current and it charges with a maximum current of 10.5A. It also has short circuit protection
@@ErCanEverything can you charge a yinlong battery here ? If thats possible thats a good thing as im not worried on higher amps as i need that floating amps as i use high current bass amplifier
I think you can charge it, but it all depends on the specifications of the battery, whether their charging current is not smaller than the power supply. Otherwise, they will heat up a lot
The charging process continues while it is turned on. This is not a problem, if you charge 24h at a voltage of 14.4V. After all, cars constantly charge 14.4V and people travel 1-2 days without stopping.
Thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏 this is what I was looking for, does it stop buy it self when it’s fully charged or reverse to just a 30mili amp hour and fixed voltage ?, can you maybe make a current regulator knob? , can you make it 24 volts ?, does it go below 1volt ?, can you add state of charge indicator? It would be the ultimate charger , thank you
Thank you🙏🙂🤝 The current regulation is a bit complicated and the minimum voltage I think was around 3.5V, but I didn't show in the video because the voltmeter display turns off below 6.5V. It is possible to increase the voltage to 24V, but the capacitors must also be replaced, Otherwise they will Explode!!!

@@ErCanEverything супер! Браво!
Не мога да се реша да работя с дрелката. Няма ли друго решение без прекъсване с дрелка
Nice tutorial as always! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank yo my Bro.🙏🤝🤝🤝

How you know when the battery is fully charge?
Alternatively get a 15V one and set it to 13~14V
I had 12V and that's why I wanted to modify it
@@ErCanEverything I know
im just saying If you already have a 12V one you can modify it but If youre planning to buy one get a 15V model
Thank you, this one i get it from scrap

Can you charge a battery from here like litium battery and LTO BATTERIES to??
