One request: please translate some of the speech of shaykh’abdul’azeez ar Rājihī حفظه الله from Riyadh KSA. He is one of the kibaar and has great focus on Tawheed and ‘Aqeedah. The Shaykh is from the most senior students of Shaykh Ibn Baaz رحمه الله and he teaches in Jāmi’ ar Rājihī in Riyadh. Keep up the good work بارك الله فيكم

A lot of people in English speaking world are ignorant of the Shaykh and his efforts. Also Shaykh ibn Al ‘Uthaymeen رحمه الله recommended the people to listen to him before he died, along with Shaykh al Fawzaan and al Barrāk. All reside in riyadh and are over 80 years old حفظهم الله

Assalaamu’alaykum I was born Muslim live in uk. I was given taweez from my family 2011 for my husband plus my nephew told me he do the same. I start to study and found I have done kufr out of ignorance.I ended up in mental hospital since I found out. I know there no ignorance or mercy from Allah as this took me out of Allah. Nothing will be acceptable from me. My health has gone so bad. I don’t eat, cry everyday, talk to myself that I’m going hellfire as I’m not Muslim anymore this the rules of Allah and his prophet (s). I cry everyday seeing a Muslim as I’m not Muslim. I look at my family they are going to jannah im not. The fear of my death, my grave and hellfire forever. I never worshiped anything. Accept Allah and follow my beloved (r) I wasn’t learnt person on taweez, magic or anything. I didn’t know this is how magic is done.

@@IbrahimKhan-gv6cw I was told I’m a kafir. That the law. I won’t get any mercy as I am kafir. Only Muslim goes to Jannah. Even I read Quran, salah, do hajj nothing will be acceptable from me. As there no excuse for it too. Sheikh explained me. Now, I can’t do the undo the sin as I didn’t even thing this is haram because I didn’t thing this is magic or anything I am doing. But Allah already knows that is magic as it happened twice. I just cry nonstop, my fear is so much I breath and thank Allah for another day because I have sold my akhariah. That’s killing me slowly anyways.

    Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan as-Sa‘di said:
With regard to anyone who believes in Allah and His Messenger and remains steadfast in obeying them, but denies some of that which the Messenger brought, out of ignorance or lack of knowledge that the Messenger brought it - even though that constitutes disbelief and the one who does it is a disbeliever - the fact that he was ignorant of what the Messenger brought makes it disallowed to deem that particular person a disbeliever, regardless of whether the matter has to do with a fundamental or minor issue, because disbelief means rejecting what the Messenger brought, or rejecting some of it, knowingly.
Thus you may know the difference between the disbeliever who disbelieves in the Messenger and the believer who rejects some of what he brought out of ignorance and misguidance, not knowingly and out of stubbornness.
    End quote from al-Fataawa as-Sa‘diyyah (p. 443-447)

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ignorance is undoubtedly a mistake. Based on that, if a person does something that constitutes disbelief, in word or deed, not knowing that it constitutes disbelief - i.e., he is ignorant of the shar‘i evidence - then he is not to be deemed a disbeliever.
      End quote from ash-Sharh al-Mumti‘ (14/449).

@@AbuAbdullahAlHanbali Yes and we take that opinion there is no excuse for matters of major shirk, like making dua to dead, making dua to graves, making dua to trees/idols/stones, since that clearly goes against the intellect and fitra of a person
"If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association.1 And none can inform you like [one] Aware [of all matters]."

Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan al-Mu‘allimi said: Even if we sometimes say that this is calling upon someone other than Allah, may He be exalted, and it is an act of worship and shirk, we do not mean that everyone who does that is a mushrik. Rather the mushrik is the one who does that with no excuse. As for the one who does that with an excuse, then perhaps he is one of the best slaves of Allah, may He be exalted and one of the most virtuous and pious.
The shaykh mentions calling upon other than Allah which is none by necessity in the religion it is haram. Clearly NOT a hidden issue.

      1) read the footnote of the muhaqqiq
      2) don’t take your ‘ilm from islamqa in general if that’s where you got it from. The founder is an Ikhwaanī… هداه الله
      3) the issue of whether matter is hidden or not actually differs from one land to another. In far away lands where the message of tawheed has not reached and there’s no ‘ulama or people of tawheed and the likes then these people may be excuses due to ignorance according to the majority of ‘ulama they will be tested in the akhirah. But their ruling in this dunya is that of Ahlul Fatrah, who are not said to be Muslims by consensus. Rather we judge by what is apparent and call them to Allah and do not pray behind them, nor over them, nor eat their food, initiate salaam, etc. but as for the akhirah most ‘ulama said they will be tested by Allah. So their affair is left to Allah.
      4) if you read Arabic you can read أقوال الشيخ عبد العزيز بن باز في العذر بالجهل which is just a small book collecting some of the shaykh’s fatawa where he explains this. But many of the books relating to this topic aren’t really suitable for beginners and this topic has a lot of speech on it though there are many good books on it. But I wouldn’t advise anyone to read without a shaykh in general, in this topic or in others. Some of the best books that this topic comes up in are the ردود على ابن جرجيس who was a sūfī who defended qubūrīs.
Would anyone in their right mind call the ignorant Qadianis or followers of Musaylimah “Muslims” for taking a prophet after the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم? Then what about one who associates a partner with Allah!
May Allah keep us on the middle path, not the path of the Khawaari who unjustly make takfeer of Muslims nor that of the murji’ah who unjustly see the mushrikeen as believers!

I have an urgent question.I know some people who like go to graves of so called righteous people like once in a year and then they sometimes touch the grave and make dua there in order to seek barakah. Is this grave worshipping?Like are these people kuffar. The thing is I don’t know if they make dua whilst asking the dead person or if they make dua there just because they think it’s a place of barakah.JazakAllahu khayran for anyone who answers this question.
