Great presentation, thanks for showing. I have reversed my diffs and gears on my TRX-4, too. On the most of the time I runn with locked diffs so the other direction of the switch was logic to me. And the gear switch was a decision for a intuitive usage.

Just got myself the trx6 a few weeks ago and yet to try it. Tore it apart on day 1 to mod it. Stretched the rear diff to allow for 2.2 XL and a slew of parts on order. So far i love the look of this rig. Thanks for the vid, nice review of it 🙂

I was looking for a second TRX6 to add another axle and make it an 8x8, as I'd love to do an 8x8 or 10x10 build with a flatbed. 👍
@@DoURC ill be doing that very thing later on in the build as im seeking an old military ZikZ 605r using an 8x8 setup but that means running straight c-channel and brackets to drop the trans.

Love the look of a 6x6. Have a sherpa so there's a yikong yk6106 coming to tag along. Maybe bigger hairbuns will help the front tyres out for aswell

Yeah at some point I'm going to change the wheels, tyres and foams for something else. 👍
@@DoURC its on its way the yk6106 so if its anything like the sherpa jeep it should be good! If you can get one definitely go for it yikong has a few 1/8 scale now coming out aswell. New the yikong yk6106 is around £420

The bikes, Sand ladders and bucket are from Aliexpress, everything else I made, like boxes, bed rolls etc. Nothing 3d printed. 👍

I have mine just opened it yesterday. When i tried to connect battery on my trx6 it makes a electrical sounds and when i try to push the trigger forward it makes a tiny sound like high pitch, is this normal for an RC?
Sounds like just esc whine. I assume it's not crazy loud, just a gentle continuous whine as you apply throttle? Is this your first RC?
@DoURC yes its not loud. Its just when i pull trigger forward and it produces high pitch sound. Yes its mine.

@shawnvogel2028 Ah ok, yeah that's normal, you can probably here mine in this video. TRX's have loud drive trains too, my TRX4 is a Screamer, even with a brushless setup! 😬
