I have advice for setting the hook and line shy For the hook set you would want to lean the rod all the way down with the d pad or analog stick and when a fish takes your bait or lure you wanna snap the rod all the way back which sets the hook and you reel the fish in For line shy certain fish need a specific pound line for their weight like blue marlin aka swordfish need 130 pound line but it won’t work for all fish like mahi mahi they need a certain weight line if it’s too heavy they can see the line which make them not bite and extra I’ve caught most of the species in the Hawaii pacific with live mackerel there’s the advice love the video and your content
Got curious, so I looked up what "Line Shy" means. It took a while, because every result was "Are fish line shy?" instead of explaining what the term meant, but apparently it means the fish can see the line and thus won't take the bait. Thicker line is more durable, but is also easier to see.
Finally got to watching this in its entirety. I will say for a realistic fishing game, with a big emphasis on "realistic", it sure had a rockin' soundtrack! I bet Fishing video games would be a lot better if they had rocking soundtracks! 🎣🎸🎵🎶
I love watching my boys absolutely lose their shit in frustration at playing video games based on fishing, one of the most passive activities you could partake in.
I loved this game so much growing up, thanks for playing it(its way better, if you know the controls and in game terms, but I know you didn't have the manual). I remember beating the game on an early morning(I still remember the last fish I caught in the game, The "Mako Shark"), good times, and keep it up guys (been watching since 2012)
So I replayed the game, 6.5 out of 10 fun, but has its issues and reused fish too much between location. I also want to add that the last fish you catch in the game a 1,400 lbs or larger Blue Marlin (turns out the Mako Shark is second to last)
Shout out to whoever made the thumbnail. Didn't think Trey was gonna sit in with Continue?, The crossover everyone was waiting for. LETS SEE GOOSE DO THAT!
I don't know if it's under copyright law but there are definitely some buildings you aren't allowed to feature in media without permission (pretty much every casino in Vegas has this)
Ah~ boat ride sounds sweet though I'm not sure my zero fishing experience will aid in bringing out the best of ocean fishing (it wouldn't help that I also just don't like seafood)
Big Strike Bowling was a steaming pile of dog shit, but at least you could perform the basic functions of bowling. A ball could be rolled, pins could be hit. Imagine a fishing game where you can't catch a fish. My god.
@@NucularRobit Hah, I recall I was unable to get it either in my first playthrough. I was eventually able to catch it quite consistently in later playthroughs.
“Everything is the dumbest fucking shit”- Josh 2023
If that’s not a whole ass mood idk what is.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll be able to play Saltwater Sportfishing

13:52 "Chum Talk" warning banner. 😂
My favorite part of Continue? is the insane nostalgia suckerpunches

I appreciate that you took the time to find that out haha

I honestly just bought a fishing rod and these fishing episodes have been helping learn to fish. Thanks boys.
Great! Now we need rods too!
this is funny if you're joking and really sweet if you aren't
@@dismalsageI'm dead serious!
@@ContinueShowPaul, keep convincing Nick to live life outside sometimes and try being on a boat It's a great time!
I always appreciate the love Josh gives to the denizens of Koboh.

Yeah, usually "this game sucks" means "we don't know how to play it"
once bitten, line shy
Lost it at "I'm chumming!"
I like to use the stalls because I like to think people always believe I'm frying up some delicious chicken in there.
"Small Trolling Lure". Trolling? Hmm... That one may be on to something, I'm not sure how the fish will react to it.

Early ‘Tinue? Y’all are going to make me chum.

No time for bummer, its Continue? summer!
gone fishin'
I can’t believe you didn’t make a Reel Big Fish joke. And to think, I almost chummed.
Weed 'tinue bay bay!
MORE FISHTINUE. FISH YEAH.
"We have ruined this garden of eden" lol! hair looks good Paul, cheers boys!
The dolphin squeak on the swordfish fantastic
Honeyfeet Josh was the name of the guy who used to sell me moonshine out behind the Stucky's
I guess I'll watch this episode before the documentary so I get the full story

I will always love fishing with the boys! it is always the nicest thing ever!
Where was the “Chum Talk” content warning, guys?
Good stuff!
Nick was half-right by the way, the reason why the Chrysler Building isn't in Spiderman: Miles Morales is because it's copywritten.
“International waters, you can do anything you want.” Is that because of the “implication”?😂
“No one’s in danger!”
Im a stall guy. I just think other guys are like "oh he must have a disability" and I'm fine with that
I never liked fishing, but with the guys it was interesting.

I hadn't seen an episode in a while but I'll admit as a Phish enjoyer I was clickbaited by the thumbnail
Welcome back! Killer name by the way.
Too line shy, hush hush why do I
Hush hushhhhhhhhhh
Phish is the absolute shit! Gonna love seeing them on the fall tour in Chicago!
Phish is one of the worst things to happen to humanity. Trey Anastasio is basically a war criminal.
Mondaytinue? What have we done to deserve this honor?
1. I was not expecting another fishing episode.
2. Do fishing games not have tutorial levels?
saltinue foreverrr
BRO this game was LEGIT back in the day you have no idea
My take away from this video is Paul is not good enough at jerking fish to hook them
Yo, beer sports games.

What happened to the fishing genre
The Fishing game in Ocarina of Time was infinitely better than this game.
I tried forever to get a big fish in that game... my sister played it once and pulled in the biggest fish I'd ever seen by far.

I want to copyright your faces. So you can't show them with out my permission
