Bashigram Lake vilakw onfoot track tourism follow madyan swat valley

Bashigram lake or Bashigram danda is located in upper Bashigram, Madyan swat. The elevation of this lake is from 11000 to 12000 ft. It is an alpine glacial lake, covered with snow even in this very hot month of July. The route to this bizarre lake is very challenging. We faced enormous difficulties in our trekking. But, all the hardships, tiredness and pains are automatically fading when you see the peculiar beauty and cold breeze of this lake. The natural beauty and place where Bashigram lake resides is heart stretching. Everyone wants to stay there for long time to feel and absorb the true nature. The gentle and calm movement of young and sprouting flowers there makes a mind blowing milieu. Everyone needs to go for overjoying the aesthetics of this lake.
