Thank you . Depends on what you intend to use it for . It’s good for oily /acne type skin . Can also irritate certain skin types . You can test a small amount in this recipe and see how your skin tolerates it .
Well...salicylic acid is a larger molecule, therefore it penetrates less readily and is more gentle than alpha Hydroxy acids (AHAs). It can be great for most skin types...you just have to vary the %.
However, SA is not water soluble. You will have to make a few adjustments to incorporate SA with a solubiliser, or even a waxy emulsifier. Also, be sure that the level is 2% or below if you intend to sell SA products in the US.
An easier approach to a SA masque would be clay with whipped butters and oil soluble active ingredients. It will leave your skin so soft! Ooooooooo....I think I'll go make some right now 🥰🥰🥰

@@OceNatural I think it was you who told me before that you didn’t use or like to use Xanthum Gum, I see why?! I made some liquid Black Soap a few months back, it left an unpleasant smell. 🌹 My apologies, no harm intended. . My bad!
@@CougarLyfe I don't believe so. I use Xanthan gum in most of my recipes and sometimes guar gum. Interesting about the unpleasant smell. I have never experienced that before. Xanthan gum has no smell. Did you add botanical powders in your liquid black soap? I am curious
