    Am I the only one who sees Fluttershy from MLP in the background!!! I love it! :D I'm all geeking out over that! Anyways, thank you for the tip on color. It's true that our eyes can see one color when it's actually something else.

    Just a question... How do you deal with the issue that pigment color isn't the same as light color? The color you see on a printed photo is based on reflection of light. The color of the monitor screen is coming from the backlight. How do you correct the value-hue-chroma changes in this brown of the video with an oil color? Isn't the same brown.... Simply by guessing?

    Which version of Photoshop do you currently use? What size of a monitor do you use? Thank you for your time.

    As a graphic designer, I can tell you that the colours we see on the screen are not easy to match with oils, acrylics and others (the RGB, CMYK convertion) I tried to do it but couldn't, is there any material that can give the colour some of that "bright" the screen has?.

    Hi Lisa,
    Here is a website where you can order the correct shells. It's good that you are going to replace the painted shell. Apparently the paint can be toxic.

    Looking forward to seeing your drawing.

    Believe it or not, MS Paint can now do this. I use Win 10, but I don't know which version it first showed up in since I've had Linux for the past 10 years. :D

      +lalaithan I've also been using pixlr.com/editor/ which is a free online editor. That one is pretty cool :D

    Buy shells like on Etsy for crafting but pick the kind hermit crabs use. Cheaper and I hear the hermit crabs do not like the painted one.
    How do u get it's to climb and move around? Mine just stay buried. I have everything correct for there enviroment

    You should really make a video about the exact names of the Polychromos you use for skin, because I don't know what to buy!

    Question, you are always so concerned about copyright and giving credit and everything - how could you possibly justify drawing/using this photo??

    • @Lachri
      @Lachri  9 лет назад +3

      +fingalificated This falls under fan art. While fan art is a muddy area and some studios don't allow it, some studios encourage and promote it. Game of Thrones is one show that encourages and promotes it.
