      I was brought up in Port Glasgow. My Dad worked in the Kingston ship yard, part of Lithgow. I lived on Argyle St. and as a wee girl I remember part of the Queen
      Elizabeth 2 being built just across from our street. We (weans) were just amazed that it was only half of the ship and the other half was being built up the river. Beautiful memories. Thanks once again. Stay safe.

      @@mleggieri801 I came from Gibshill, but spent a lot of time in the ' Wee Port ' as a youngster we used to call it, the Baths , Coronation Park was a favourate to lots of kids, I even boxed for the ' Port Glasgow Boys Club

      @@rella62 I had an Auntie and Uncle who lived up the "Gibby." Use to go visit them and play with my cousins. I can't remember the name of the street. They lived on the first wee street that had a couple of back and front doors. They only lived there for about three years sometime in the sixties. They loved their place but they had a couple more weans and had to find a bigger place for their family. Good times.
