    1 Gbps is really fast! They all promise 10 Gbps, don't know why. Could there be a USB connection that ''utilizes'' the 10 Gbps potential?

      Yeah, it's crazy how they all advertise 10 Gbps, but in reality, you often don’t get that. USB 3.1 GEN2 has a transmission speed of 10 Gbit/s, which should translate to 1250 Megabytes per second! But it seems like most devices or cables don't fully tap into that potential. Maybe a better quality USB connection or cable could make a difference. Have you tried different setups to see if you can get closer to those speeds?
