Very nice tutorial, but after several 2xGI7b amplifiers built for purpose, this kind of cooling seems kinda' non-adequate. From my point of view, it is not optimal solution to pull the hot air over plastic fan pins. Then, "cold" air should pass over tube radiator and then leave the casing and here I see that some radiator fins have been reduced in order to make place for the plate choke.. I understand it is not easy to seal FL2100 of any kind, but this kind of tube mounting is worth trying. Guess that replacing original coolers with heavy diode heat sinks would do the job with couple of small blowers placed where 572B sockets have been? 80x80 mm blowers one per tube should do if they could fit one way or another - worked fine in my 6m amplifer. But anyway, once again - great presentation, kudos to F5MAG! 73 de Gogo 9A6C.
Hello, i could hardly see any cooling of the amp ? Have seen part 1 and 2 but no traces of fans or blowers. Just some duct tape to cover prime holes ? Rgds, Nermin S58DX
tnx long time worked this amplifier hardness setup
Thanks.
I like the job being done. Has to modify my FL2100B and has couple of GI7B for that purpose. Good luck Om.

Muy buen trabajo.

The fans are mounted on the top of the amplifier when I make the video editing was not finished adessif are to guide the flow of hot air 73 s
