- Hey guys, super stoked to unveil a pretty historic moment for 100 Thieves. We've been hard at work with the legendary fashion brand Gucci to make something incredibly exciting for our fans. Revealing a limited-edition backpack from the Gucci Off The Grid collection - made from recycled and sustainably sourced materials - in a new shade of bright red featuring a distinctive circular patch with the 100 Thieves logo. Y'all have always had my back but some of you are quick to forget where I came from. I was working as a fast food cashier when I was 15 years old for 4 years and going to community college so I could try to make it as a professional gamer. That was 10 years ago. With the help of some incredible friends, we created 100 Thieves and continued to try and innovate in the gaming community. We made so much progress that GUCCI reached out to create a product together. A brand that has been around for over 100 years and one of the most recognizable names in fashion throughout the world. If you were in my shoes making the same decisions, you would understand how big of an opportunity this was and how important it is for the culture of gaming and 100 Thieves more broadly. This was honestly a dream come true and by far the coolest project I've ever been a part of. I know some of you are disappointed by the price, but I would urge you to think bigger picture. We have had plenty of product in our 4 year history that has been affordable and available for all levels of income and we will continue to create opportunities that are all inclusive. But for this situation, you need to understand that I've poured blood, sweat and tears into this company we've been building and I was never going to pass on this opportunity.

I mean basically what you said was "If you can't afford something, work hard for it and buy it" which is typically true. But there is a certain amount people are willing to spend. Most people, whether they have the money or not, will not spend 90 dollars on a hoodie, bag, etc. It simply isn't good money management.
Part of the reason people have insane amounts of debt is due to poor money management and buying things they don't need. IF you are poor, don't go out and buy a 100 dollar bag whether you want it or not, you don't have that money to spend.

@@kieranwatt1937 100T is a brand with esports teams in Fortnite, LOL, Call of Duty, Valorant. By collaborating with such a globally recognized brand such as Gucci, it not only gets more eyes on esports and gaming community but legitimizes the gaming scene by reaching out of our current realm and expanding into markets that have nothing to do with gaming. I’d assume that there are many Gucci consumers that have little to no knowledge about esports and brands such as 100T, if people are going to wear a new logo on their back I’m sure they’re going to look into what it represents. In simpler terms, Gucci= large global audience 100T= more of a niche audience. 100T + Gucci = Large global audience is now aware and financial invested into a more niche gaming related brand such as 100T.

I'm one of those who, "why the f would you ever buy something like Gucci". I would never buy Gucci or any other of those brands, cause I just think its wayyy too expensive, but I still think it's hella cool that you got to collab with someone like Gucci, like that is just insane to me for an esports org, and I respect it a LOT. It’s just great to see Nade make it from where he was, to now collaborating with Gucci. Coming from that IN/IL area, all people here want to do is make it on their own and nobody quits till they make it 10x further ahead than what they wanted to. If anything this shows me that I can make it like Nade, currently going to a CC while working 40+ hr weeks to pay for college and setting myself up for the future. Ima be real. I'm one of those people who were complaining about the price. I'm happy about 100T's success and I've followed Nadeshot since he was still in Optic. He's someone I look up to. The fact is, the products are expensive. I could grind for the $90 hoodie, or I could grind for 3-4 high-quality hoodies that cost a total of $90. That's how I look at it. In the end, if I don't like the price, I don't need to buy it. It's the same with the prices of GPUs rn.

Very true, for me it's saving up for a 90 pound or dollar hoodie but from a designer brand which isn't completely luxury, it's why I like brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Adidas Originals. Their brands that usually have sales on and use good quality materials. They are also recognised brands when I am out in public compared to the reasonably small niche that's eSports companies.
