Even IP68 submersible is not necessarily recommeded for chlorinated water in swimming pools. Fixtures for swimming pools need special gaskets, which are not permeable & are not being deteriorated by chlorine. Furthermore housing components for professional pool fixturers are mostly V4A stainless steel, instead of "normal" V2A stainless steel (the latter I have seen corroding in a public pools lighting mounting brackets), due to the chlorinated atmophere. But for the BEGA fittings you chose, you should be fine, the even have chlorine resistant wireing ;) Wibre also works well in this regard.

Usually manufacturers also include the depth of submersion allowed.

Yeah, not to mention this is NOT a low voltage luminaire!!! This is a super dangerous fixture to be installed into a human accessible body of water. I'm sure your electrical code would not allow non 12-24v fittings to be installed in locations where humans (kids specially) would enter the water, even if it would be rated IP68. My local code would not allow non LV fixtures within 2m of a body of water. Cheers Nelca!
