You can get the fish with bones as well... In the coast you can find the red snapper... they also bring in fresh water lake fish from Kisumu called Tilapia... Just ask for whole fish

Watamu is nice but try Diani, and yes Kenya is the capital city of Africa. in terms of infrastructure, housing, internet, and transport. only South Africa can challenge Kenya on that. but Nairobi city was ranked 7th by experts in the world.

We have many different types of seafood at the Coast: mackerel, Tuna, Red/white Snapper, lobster, crab, prawns and many others. We also eat Tilapia and Nile Perch which have lots of bones.

Like you mentioned Cameroon has black sand beaches (Limbe, so unique) but you forgot to say it also has a regular sand (tan color) beach in Kribi. But we don’t have white sand like Kenya and Tanzania like you said.
East African beaches on the Indian Ocean are all white sandy beaches.
Very beautiful. The restaurant should have oferred you some gravy or something to eat with the rice and fish. Am not sure if the restaurant is a tourist clas but the rooms are great. Am confused.

I think this phrase of the capital of Africa is being over-used. Kenya is overrated. As much as we would like to be number one in terms of development, we can all agree that we still have a long way to go. Some countries are way beyond us and they ain’t bragging. We should be humble and do more. Until then, we can’t call ourselves ‘the capital of Africa’!
