I fail a shiny Riolu at a outbreak but I save got the evil 3 leader battle me and it broke the outbreak and when I reseted it said it outbreak is gone. But I got 1 early and a crobat in the Sky

@@matthewrogers100 outbreak method! Odds are 1/158 without the charm. There are also other reasons: overworld Pokemon are displayed as shiny, makes a 'shine' noise, and odds naturally decrease as you fill the dex. It's a shiny hunters dream lol

For those who don’t know, outbreak odds without dex level, perfect dex level, shiny charm or anything already drops from 1/4096 to 1/157. The flat odds of finding them in the wild is still 1/4096 (minus a few w shiny charm/dex/etc).
The reason ppl are finding them so frequently outside of outbreaks too is because you’re encountering them at a much higher rate than other games. Where you only run into 1 at a time in grass-based encounters, you’re having 10-20 spawn around you in any given moment. Essentially you’re just boosting your shiny hunting speed!
thanks, I was about to ask if the odds were different because I found a monferno outbreak last night. Gave it like 6-7 tries and was losing hope (as well as sleep). I'll keep smashing those monkeys then!
I’ve only done 1 outbreak in my 3 days playing the game so far and for a shiny wurmple that was last night. And that’s only 1 outta my 5 shinnies I have already. My other 4 have been regular overworld spawns. This games insane

I heard a shiny noise near the group of scyther by kleaver’s area. Never found a shiny when I looked around… I got reaaaal excited hoping it would be a scyther 😂
"Always save the game when a shiny pops up" I have actually lost a shiny from doing that durring an outbreak, a shiny kirlia appeared when I was about half way through and I saved immediately, but she ran away so I quit the game and reloaded, when I reloaded (which I tried multiple times) It brought me to the spot I saved at, but no pokemon were there and the message saying the pokemon seem to be gone appeared. It might be safer to just have saved in the map before encountering it, and reloading and traveling back, as so long as you don't leave the area the pokemon in the
outbreak doesn't change.
Something similar happened to me. I was doing a Zorua outbreak, 5 resets in and I think I hear the sound but I don't see one and when I'm done catching the rest I don't get the notification I caught the last one. I was right there was one more and it was shiny. It spawned in A ROCK. I couldn't get it. Saved and reset hoping that it would spawn outside the rock but it was gone. Took hours of resetting later to get the outbreak to come back and even more resetting to get a shiny.
that's what Dan meant, I believe. It's much safer that way and only takes and extra minute of traversal
This happened to me as well hunting a shiny eevee. I had it show up and I saved it as it showed up and went ! Then it ran away and disappeared. So I reset my game where I saved it just before it had fled and it told me the same thing, that the spawn was gone. I think it's a bug with the game. I haven't found another eevee outbreak yet.
Happened to me too with a goomy swarm. The shiny popped up and immediately ran. I saved before it ran off and despawned but when I reloaded the game, the swarm was over. I tried reloading a few times but it kept giving me the same message. I was so surprised to see that it worked for him in this video??
@@JackalopeBunny Once an outbreak appears in the area you want to hunt, go there and keep going back to the village and area until an eevee outbreak appears, that's how I reclaimed my Zorua. Might take a couple hours but you should get there!
My luck has been craaaazy, since literally two days ago I’ve gotten shiny zoroark, gliscor, walrein, togekiss, kricketune, growlithe, parasect, sneasler, scizor and drifblim… all shiny in the last two days… this game is absolutely incredible 👏🏽🙌🏽
I have found out that saving when a shiny appears in an outbreak can actually make you FAIL a shiny. Happened twice today. Chatot and Basculin. Saved when they showed up BUT since it was at the end of the outbreak…the game interprets that as the end and it disappears when you reload. I don’t know how to resolve this but it’s an issue with saving when they show up I have found.
That's why I try telling people too NEVER save in an outbreak and only load before the outbreak

I learned this not with a shiny but from finding an alpha starly for my alpha dex. Saved in case of whatever but when I reloaded.. no alpha starly. Thank god it wasn’t also shiny.

I’ve had one shiny appear so far. Shiny Mothim along with the gift ponyta. I love them both
I have a shiny riolu on my 11th reset, a growlith with only 1 reset, a buneary with a few resets, shiny geodude on like 8th reset, a shiny golbat which I then evolved into a crobat on my second reset, a Luxio on like 5th reset, I got a shiny teddiursa and evolve it to a shiny ursaluna on my 4th reset. This was all thanks to ur guide for the shiny outbreak method, so thanks alot Adrive!

A similar thing happened to me the other day! I was hunting Yanma’s, and I got my shiny, went to another area planning to work on the Pokédex there, and there happened to be a Chansey raid, and the first one to pop up after catching one was shiny!

You mean a outbreak? The base shiny rate in mass outbreaks is 1:158, so it's rather easy to find one

I too have had crazy shiny luck. I have been playing since launch and I have found 12 shinies, one of which was full odds
I got a shiny Chancey and a shiny misdrevious back to back today! I was happy. Misdrevious was full odds and that was on my way to a Chancey outbreak which the first set of 4 had a shiny in it

Oh man, glad I evolved my shiny Scyther before watching this ^^; I felt SO clever when I noticed that the pokedex page for graveler said it could drop black augerite. And I went out and hunted some down. I gotta be more careful about watching vids like this, since I’m going so slowly in advancing things in my personal playthrough ^^;
I've had some absurd luck so far in this game. 5 shinies so far. 4 of which were random, being Teddiursa, Machoke, Beautifly, and Starly. 5th one was a Skorupi through the Outbreak Method. Currently going for Growlithe.
Yup, great shiny game for sure. Before I even beat frenzied kleaver I got shiny starly, bidoof and scyther. So I had a shiny kleaver by the time I faced my second frenzy
Steve from PKMCAST posted a video today saying how saving when you see it can cause you to fail it. he showed examples too, he showed its better to save right when you spawn at the camp before heading to the outbreak and he was able to continuously reset it with the same shiny!

This game is so kind with shines. I spent so many times in other games trying to get a shiny but nothing. But this game has gave me almost a full box of shines. I sadly lost a shiny bascuiln because it spotted me before I could save. The regular ones didn't run (except for one along with the shiny)
Also wouldn't the shiny shinx not be the first encounter because it wasn't there at the beginning? Wouldn't a first encounter be like you flying overhead and then it's there without you doing anything to make it spawn?

I'm glad someone told me to save before trying to catch a shiny and told me that once I save in front of the shiny that I can reset and the shiny will be there because otherwise I would have failed at least 2 shinnies by now.

It’s so cool to watch people getting such luck. Shiny fails aren’t so common anymore, and it’s cool to have good luck now. I caught two so far. Besides the guarantee ponyta.

Was very surprised to watch a Pokemon run up a tree the first time it happened but it was also a Kricketot so I was fine with it... BUT WATCHING A BLISSEY RUN UP A TREE IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE!!! (I then caught a new Blissey and named it Humpty Dumpty)
Hands down best game for shiny hunting it’s just so fluid it does not feel tedious. Got a shiny eevee on my first ever outbreak it was just waiting there I’m still hunting it in BDSP with my daughter lol.

I think if there is a swarm on a map it increases the shiny rate for all Pokemon on the map. I could be wrong, but I've noticed swarm maps I get shiny much more often, even outside of the swarm species. I thought it would only increase target species and am not sure if this is intended behavior.
It’s fun to run into shiny Pokémon watch them evolve and change color I got three of them so far .
I found a shiny alpha johto sneasel in a space time distortion. It was the happiest and most stressful moment of my play through. I caught it in battle and named it Valentine. ❤️
The best shiny luck I have ever gotten is in a buizel outbreak where I got a shiny alpha floatzel and a shiny buizel. I honestly love this game.
I remember farming my first shiny shinx in coronet mountains i spawned there and the first thing that popped when i got there was a shiny shinx first attempt in the outbreak i was like... It was waiting for me

I never got a real shiny before, only trading and o Go, and the very first Tentacool I ever saw in Arceus was shiny!
And from then I got two other random encounters (dex10) and one in outbreak!
I also got a full odds shiny psyduck not far from where dan caught his.
I got a shiny haunter next to the spheal in the quest where you are chasing a spheal down a mountain and it was while sky was distorted

I was looking for a peat block for my Ursaring for 45 minutes and accidentally found a shiny Teddiursa, then I found the peat block almost instantly and the first night was full moon. Accidental shiny Ursaluna 😅

Another Pro Tip. When you are chasing a pokemon. You can ZL target that pokemon when you are holding a throwable item. It will lock onto the pokemons general location and all you have to do is throw.

4+ hour and still no shiny Scyther with the mass outbreak method. I did however came across a shiny Kricketot who ran away, and I forgot to save beforehand.
If you saved at the camp the shiny will still be there in that group so saving when they appear is not necessary
My first shiny was drifloon while I was surfing around , 2nd was a shiny zubat , and 3rd was qwilfish , I’m only 40 + hours in all u gotta do is play and u will get them
