As a vlogger, u should have provided more information such as how much was d HOA, how much were d lots, amenities etc. its seems like u only shared d positives, not d negatives. I would probably buy my own SFH and park my RV there than to subjected to HOA fees that enforces so many restrictions. My 2 cents....

Since each land lot is individually owned the price can vary by each owner there is no set price range. It’s a little community but it’s something that can be a great solution for someone looking to downsize or just start traveling 🧳 and also have a home base to come back too. You can rent the space out when your not using it to other RV’S
So they wont tell you how much hoa is, its probably almost as much as a rental lot

Anyone know why jess ranch lakes in the area closed down? It used to be a popular local fishing hole which is right next door to this rv park.
I was wondering the same think 🤔 hopefully somebody knows why it’s closed
@@livinginthehd I did a little more digging after I posted the original comment. There isn't much information available, but the most reliable sources I was able to find say that there were a few fish hatcheries in Southern California, including the mojave river fish hatchery and by extension the jess ranch hatchery, that were infected by a bacterial infection that affects fish back in 2020. There is no cure for this bacteria and it makes the fish unsafe for consumption.
So they had to euthanize millions of fish, and drain the lake and hatchery to get rid of the bacteria.
The lake has been closed since about May of 2021, most likely because of this, although there is no information posted about this on the jess ranch website. It can take several years to restore a hatchery and fishery, so the lake will probably remain permanently closed for the foreseeable future. I'm sure somewhere down the road they will eventually reopen, or atleast I hope so.
Jess ranch lakes have been around since about the 1940s, they are a historic local landmark. Lots of people who've fished these lakes over the years when they were a kid, have brought their own kids to fish here, there is a lot of history there. I would think they wouldn't let it end this way.
Guess we just have to wait and see, and be patient. As far as I know, this lake is privately owned. So hopefully the family that owns it keeps the tradition alive.
