    Well, if you want to get to know Milosz's work, you need to get to him by the translations of his magnificient books, not really by these interviews.... His English wasn't that good but his body of work is definately worth examining.... One of the finest from the XX century.

    Striving is the most important. As for the achievement I don't know. Americans in their self absorption lack the self knowledge to see this.
