    This looks like such a great option! You did a fab job of showing how easy it is to transform it and I also appreciated the clips of you out and about- when I’m looking for a mobility aid, I always like to see it in action & I’m sure a lot of other people are the same so this video is perfect! Job well done once again Beverley! xx

    YAYS! I'm SO GLAD you got your 'Transformer'! It looks amazing and exactly what you needed. I'm so happy it gives you mroe independence and freedom and it's the best possible use of the PIP you were owed.
    Yes please to a review of the EDS aids you get: I'm always looking for things to make my life easier with my Hypermobility Syndrome ('cause, as we know, HSD & HEDS are cousin conditions if not the *same* condition).
    Finally I looked at your Hubby's art - it is absolutely beautiful and he is a very talented man!

    As someone with ME CFS I vary considerably and can go to walking, to bedbound in a matter of days. Hence why I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user! I bought this last week (the performance one with inflatable wheels) and it’s so sturdy and nimble. I’m excited with how it’s going to open up my life 😊 great review Beverley ❤

    So helpful! I have gHSD (waiting to get into geneticist to rule out other subtypes of EDS), POTS, and fibromyalgia. This seems like a perfect versatile option to conserve energy and rest when needed, and many of the other 2-in-1 combos don't appear to be near as comfortable. But I wasn't sure if I could justify the cost. I'm encouraged by your experience!

    • @BeverleyButterfly
      @BeverleyButterfly  2 года назад

      I know what you mean it is expensive but it’s so light and easy to change over as well as yes so comfortable it doesn’t feel flimsy at all. I hope you get some answers soon xx

  • @strawberrywheels
    @strawberrywheels 3 года назад +2

    ive been looking at aids to help with my POTS! its less so that i need support while walking (though i do tend to need to lean when an episode starts) and more that i need something there for me so i dont miss out bc i have to sit all the time! i've been telling myself that im not "disabled enough" or not "sick enough" to justify spening money on such a nice product, but i think i may just go for it! (after talking with my physical therapist lol) ty for such an informational video!!

    • @BeverleyButterfly
      @BeverleyButterfly  3 года назад +1

      Oh it’s perfect for that it really stops you saying no to days out because you can walk with it if you feel ok and then if needed it can turn into a wheelchair so you don’t lose your independence xx

    But late to the party but thank you for this review.
    Been looking at buying one of these for my mum who has spinal issues. Been on the Fence a bit due to the price but after watching this I will be getting one for her. She can walk short distances but feel like this will give her some of her independence back when we do go out to the shops or for a day trip.

    • @BeverleyButterfly
      @BeverleyButterfly  Год назад

      Yes they are perfect if you can walk a little, I love it when going to the shops my hubby pushes me to the shop then I can walk a little round it and shop I love that because it gives me independence. Not sponsored or anything just highly recommend it xx

    I have ordered the Rollz Motion Performance, which comes only in a Matt Green and has pneumatic rather than solid tyres plus a deeper angled seat cushion and thicker padding on the arm rests. It comes at a price though. Like you I wanted a practical quality combination of walker and wheelchair. It will enable me as well to pick up my neighbour sometimes from hospital, if I take it slowly. The quick conversion from walker to wheelchair would also offer a superior resting point than perching on a walker, which can be uncomfortable after a short time. Certainly these devices are far more flexible and will meet a lot of people’s needs better than having a walker and a wheelchair, basically taking over your home and car in the process. All the best.

      @@BeverleyButterfly I am in hospital learning. To walk again and can’t walk more than 20 metres without getting more pained and slowed down with FND and CRPS pain in knees and lower legs . The Physio said once out in the community you can sit on a walker and get your friends to push .... ummm no no no no . Every single walker model online , and store I rung says never do that under any circumstance . Your feet would be on the ground flat , so they would drag unless you have the strength to keep them up , and then you are in the way of the person pushing . They would see obstacles in the way . Frame isn’t built for pushing people , and the person pushing would not be able to stop it rolling away if on a slope etx . I’m fighting to get one of these ... resting a few minutes ans walking again doesn’t fix the fatigue many of us have

    • @BeverleyButterfly

      That feeling is society ableism and we all have that voice in our ear! But I'd be unable to go out shopping without this I'm not paid by the company at all! It gives independence as you can switch between being a walker with a seat and a wheelchair. It's great for fatigue and pain, it's only you who knows if you need an aid it's there to help xx
