Been on these things since the age of two with my grandad who owned one for his building business, he let me have a go operating when I was older. Did some footings,soak away and grading in my teens either on 180 or 360 machines privately and loved it but for some reason I saved up in my twenties and did my HGV C+E/class 1. 37 now and been looking at getting my NPORS or CPCS card.

The drain your making with backhoe bucket, was that a layer of clay because it didn't seem like top soil?
Yes mostly clay some stones bits too but not much top soil👍
