Absolutely agreed. It was true 3 years ago, and it's true now. This is exactly what dubstep purists need to hear. They need to hear that dubstep artists themselves wanted to continue to see dubstep grow and evolve, and that they believe the overall sound is much more important than whether a song has a very particular drum pattern, or whether or not the bpm is a little bit faster or slower. Go to hell, anyone who said dubstep died with brostep, anyone who insists riddim isn't dubstep, anyone who insists "drumstep" isn't just dubstep at a higher bpm, anyone who says dubstep can't have a trap-y bass...the list goes on.
all these guys are doing now is talking that back in the day bullshit. Not making music, not running any scenes, all because they wouldn't drop tunes on streaming services. Its a shame at the least and extremely narrow minded at worst
