@@kyuujinreacts 😆 Certainly! Now that "civilization" has entered the story, the question becomes who are the monsters? Love your discussion. And headwear!
I don't see how Flint could have survived Ashe's "plan". Not only would he be confessing to piracy and murder but also to being a gay man? Any one of those would've gotten him hung. All three together? Yeah, he would've been executed but maybe that was what Ashe really wanted. The final consequences of his betrayal that he could sweep under the rug.
@@heyskipj Oh, yeah, Flint totally knew he was going to his doom. He had that resigned look when he agreed to Ashe's deal, but he was willing to do it to make Thomas' dream or Nassau come true. Miranda knew it, too, which is why she brought up the clock. She wasn't going to stand for Ashe sending Flint to his death. Sadly it ended in hers. 😭
I haven't cried at a characters death in years, but watching this ep for the first time a few weeks ago had me GRIEVING

Maybe Flint deep down knew that too. But in the desire to rid himself of Flint by any means and avoid the larger war was a sacrifice?
